@@jrc-3954 that’s what they said but I really don’t believe them because I’ve seen plenty of STIs built by offtheline, out front performance and Crawford make 500hp out of stock blocks and forged internals. I disagree. F1 is more skill, but rally is more "who is more crazy wins"
@eloquent_redneck3719Ай бұрын
@@koryhelm8515 F1 drivers just need a strong neck to withstand g forces while cornering. rally racers deal with similar Gs and they also have to be strong enough to be able to flip their own car back on the track if they roll and there's no random spectators to help them lol, F1 has like 100 man pit crew, a safety car, and a full tower crane on site to help if they break down
@TSerr97Ай бұрын
@@eloquent_redneck3719 Neck strength is important but what makes them athletes is the cardiovascular conditiong required to deal with the heat inside the cockpit for 2 hours in a race. Depending on the track the cockpit can average around 140° since unlike a road car the hottest components of the car surround the driver who is wearing several layers of non- breathable flame retardant clothing. It's way most of them run triathlons during the off season... They may be rich primadonna's but they are legit athletes lol
