That's what I use and it gives my hair life. I would rather use wetline and Scurl, than eco styler. It is much softer. My hair is way more defined. It takes hours. I'd dont do that . I just wash and go.

You're missing the stylin' gel. Use the "activator" like a leave in, then follow it up with Luster's SCurl Texturizer Stylin' Gel. Game changing for 4B-4C. It works as a humectant, as well.

Ok I tried it on my page as well with the s curl in the jar. With the flaxseed and jamaican black castor oil eco style. I didnt get the wash and go effect so I did jumbo twist instead. And listennnnnnnn! So juicy juicy it was. But I'm going to try what you said because i really want a wash and go.

The best seems to be the wetline. I use a different kind of activator gel. Even on my protective style. It holds moisture like no other. Extreme humectant.

I became natural during the coronavirus days and actually just purchased Scurl and that same exact eco-gel with the olive oil and thankfully it’s worked for me for several months now. I’m 4C and usually put it in twists then take them out for a few days. Your video gives me the courage to try it as a wash n go. Thanks!

I'm so glad someone commented on this! I would've LOVED to have someone like her as a friend when I was young. I'm in my 40s, and I was the "resident weirdo" back then. There was no one with similar interests near me, and no internet to find like minded people elsewhere. It was very isolating, and I felt like the weirdest person on the planet. I love seeing nerdy Black girls these days embracing who they are instead of feeling like outcasts.

Recently, I've been diagnosed with alopecia. That means that I am going to lose ALL OF MY HAIR. Now I look back and think I should have been mpre happy with what I had. Sending you lots of love.

Hi Erika, I've never commented to another subscriber but just wanted to share. I have the same texture that can get tangles and knots very easily on wash day. Very frustrating. I have started using Camille Rose Lavender Quench Deep Conditioner and Lavender Whipped Cream Leave in with extra slip. It works wonders. Has reduced tangles tremendously.

I moved back to Houston with this Fro and it seems impossible to deal with. I'm usually in a headwrap because whatever I do with it is deleted and canceled out the second time I get out my vehicle 🙃

I live in a dry environment (Colorado) and moisture is a battle, but Camille Rose Deep Condish has been my new secret weapon! I have the leave in, but haven't tried it yet. It's so worth it!

I have 4C and tried both the "Scurl" with Eco and "Scurl" with Wetline. I think I prefer the Wetline. I rake it throughly and sometimes I use my denman brush because I too have to get into the shaft of my hair. For a surity it takes less time and lengthens better with "Scurl". I believe moving forward this will be my go-to wash and go!

Because the glycerin in the ingredients is a humectant and I had just really moisturized my hair before using this, it gave me moisture overload and damaged my hair. I’ve been trying to nurse my hair back to health after using the SCurl. 😭 I want my coils/curls back.

Curl activator gels under styling gel is a miracle for dry curly and coily hair! My wash and go's haven't been the same since I started using them. My hair likes the Hawaiian Silky dry formula and wet line combo the best. I would love to see more videos with different gels! combinations!

You are soooo beautiful. Your skin is unexplainable n your vibe is just...unmatched...andddddd so many of us have the same fluff nugget. You are not alone but aint got timeeeee to try all these products. I try to keep it au natural with products which i am able to but when it comes to styling products, im at a loss cause i just go for cornrows water shea butter n sheen spray.. I have never found a product that allows me to go with a nicely shaped textuted fro....without white flakes or to much scalp. 🤔oh the struggle. N i have grey hairs coming in. 37yrs old ..... My hair is just like yours, same texture and everything. It’s broken off really bad and I’m struggling to find what works to keep it moisturized. I also have struggled with alopecia my entire life (prominent bald spots on either side of head). It’s really hard for me to love my hair, pretty much impossible. I enjoy watching your videos and watching you grow to love your hair. It gives me hope that I will come half has far as you have. Keep doing what you’re doing Danielle. You are very inspiring❤️

S Curl, Hawaiian Silky, mmmm. BTW, nappy headed jajoba turned me in to Hawaiian Silky gel to help with moisturizating my schnappy 4c hair. And it werk. I don't really use it anymore though. I make my own clean mix using a schidge of glycerin, aloe vera juice or gel and maybe a little water.
