Oh thanks! I have been trying to develop my screaming for quite some time, but I don't see the whole picture yet, so there is a lot to develop👀

Keep it up! Few months later you'll achieve whole new level of extreme vocals.

More diaphragm, less throat. Slipknot got me into growling back in 1999 and I not only shredded my throat but i was spitting up blood for a week. If it hurts then stop. Take a break, room temperature water and do vocal warm ups... Don't goose your voice because that's a good way to do damage to your vocal cords. Not a good idea because rhe resolve is vocal cord surgery and that is not cheap. I usually start with a Cookie Monster impression say "cookie" lightly imitating the cookie monster and then project it louder. Lift your head up towards the ceiling and do it and it should come from the diaphragm and bypass the throat because your head is looking up which means your throat is open. You'll know if you do it right because if it's coming from your diaphragm, your stomach will feel empty and you'll feel hungry.

its honestly amazing the amount of sounds one can make with the ole throat flute. so many folds and tissues to pull on. RESEARCH the difference between a false chord vs epiglottis growl. people confuse these a ton. ive managed to find will Ramos banshee screams, tea kettles and what not, struggling a bit on the lower demon sounds. ive found so many sounds by by studying many types of throat singing. mixed with sub harmonics. best i can describe the will Ramos banshee screams and tea kettles. is gently frying all the way up in your whistle register. sounds awful. then fold your tongue up like a overtone note. then making a V shape with the tip of your tongue. really hard to describe. will also canters his upper larynx which pulls his chords out of phase. (will Ramos operation throat cam) I think what alex is doing, (assuming here) hes pushing his epiglottis back as far as it goes. which should use your esophagus a bit for resonance. epiglottis is that hard bit on your tongue you feel when you make yourself puke, it covers your airway so you dont choke and die of death. while doing throat singing which is where both true and false chords are active at the same time, the false being an octave lower. throat sing first, then do a epiglottis growl over that, thats 3 parts right there. then your tongue to make that extra chamber for reverse air preassure. only thing i know for sure, is that I can be an idioit sometimes, lmao take my tips with a grain of salt. dont forget to engage the fart muscles 😂

What a stunning lecture right here! I can see you are a Chris Liepe x Will Ramos enjoyer yourself👀 Thank you for setting the vector for developing sounds, I'll give it my best

I have always dreamed of being the best growler at every stoplight 😂 Edit: I want to say that somewhere online in Russian, there are some of Alex's instructional videos on his technique. These would probably be 10yrs old maybe.

I watched them and it seems like Alex can scream well but he can't explain well, so they are kinda useless. He is gifted with some low voice and ability to consistently putting his voice to work. Discipline and dedication are his best friends😎

I've been doing harsh vocals for about 5 years, and I can get low, like really low, but I can do anything Alex can, you sound pretty good, more of a fry tone, I do false cords, but you sound really good
@BrokenHeadphones_WАй бұрын
Seems like I don't understand the fundamentals of falsecord at all. I recorded this video a month ago and I still don't get it🗿 So there is more to learn I suppose!

@@BrokenHeadphones_W if I may. search the video title on youtube "15 Extreme Vocal Techniques (Almost) Totally Unknown to Science" by a mr Michael Schwalbe. metal singer, plus a voice actor. it should help you clear up some definitions. and show you some cool vocal effects that can be used for non metal purposes. such as haunting your local nursing home. where I found out you can use your uvular to roll your S sounds. lets one sound sssnakey.

many of these tutorials are shit... it's all about finding that "spot" and building from there... what one works for someone won't work for you etc. Remember Alex is doing this for 12 years + and guy is living that, so it's also very mental as well, not just technique-wise.
