Some kind of momentum based mechanic maybe? Maybe if you’ve been going at full speed for a second or two it puts your through a 2x speed portal. It would encourage people to not get caught on things so they can maintain speed I think.

1:51 you can actually move before the camera fully returns to the cube. If you're fast enough you don't need to wait for the spikes to come down again.

Hello Speezy! Im so glad you decided to play geometry dash! I think you should play this really cool level called "slaughterhouse". It starts off with some pretty easy jumps and transitions into some basic wave which is a great preparation for some harder levels like Blast Processing. Merry Christmas!

In the section in tower 4 after the pacman section you can actually save 3 seconds by take the first 3 keys like you, but then for the last one, you go up onto the spike ball’s back then take the key then go down into the door right before the spike ball block it

I know im late, but fun fact abkut the box in the secret hollow, the box that falls doen when you hit the button initially, which lets you access the rest if the area, it actually doesnt have collision until it fully lands, so if you move too fast there you can end up inside of it instead of kn top, losing a little time

Also, I discovered a shortcut for The Secret Hollow that allows you to get the first blue coin a couple seconds faster bc the coin spawns on the spike before the spike falls down the pit. The current WR uses it too!
