Just found your channel .omg wish I found you before 😢. I personally would never get it. If it’s got a name with Enoch Powell‘s name written on it, I wouldn’t touch it with a bargepole . People have gone out and bought this from the UK and they have the same issues as you . hit and miss with signal. They put extra charges on it or maybe you get charged after you’ve had it a period of time . 😢 take care im full time and I just use my phone and laptop for work and videos

@@nigelandsueadventures they were. As are the new ones. Lithium is a little out of my price bracket currently. Hopefully the new ones resolve the issue though. Watch this space, I might have to do another video to see how it’s going.

Should have just get the SL mini which is already 12v and can sit on your front dashboard or move anywhere easily.

@@VykingBoy thanks for commenting. It’s nice to have you along. I looked into mini. It is much cheaper but it’s designed for infrequent use and has limited data which I don’t think would have been enough for me. As I’m trying to learn about KZbin I want to be able to do lots of research I want to use it for everything, maps, entertainment, uploading videos, researching KZbin stuff etc. so I didnt think the data would have been enough.

@@helenwheels4444incorrect . You can choose any data plan for all SL hardware so roam unlimited is available on the mini. It’s does have a slightly lower download speed since the dish is smaller but still around 100 -170 mbps and draws around 65% less power than the gen 3 you have. More than enough for your needs.

Oh well that’s even more frustrating. That wasn’t clear at all from the website. Maybe I didnt look into it enough and went off prematurely having been so frustrated already.

@@garyiow8482 yeah I tried. The problem is that E sims don’t really hotspot. Or if they do they limit the data so it makes it pretty unusable to use the computer. It’s frustrating.
