The BBQat Moos Craft was SOOOO GOOD, off the charts excellent! I would rank it neck and neck with Franklin's BBQ in TX. No joke! It DOES prove. you CAN get great TX BBQ locally!

Try Battambang BBQ, it’s a Texas style BBQ with Cambodian flavors! Cambodian Cowboy is based in Long Beach, CA but you can catch him at LA Smorgasbord on Sundays. I want to see your reaction and thoughts.

Any, Excellent video! How do they cook enough brisket on just one 1,000 gallon pit? Just trying to compare that to popular Texas places that run out of brisket with 2 or more jumbo size pits. Why do they use a J&R for the pork belly?

Great question. That was for Thursday service so volume wasn't weekend level. They have an MM now so theyre fine now on space now. I believe they retired the JR

A question I've always had about smoked burgers is how they're held. If they're being smoked to about rare and then held in a warming oven (assuming somewhere between 140-150F), don't they heat up to well done by the time they're served?
@AntsBBQCookout11 ай бұрын
They come off the smoker like an hour to half an hour before service. So it's not enough time to cook it to well done

This place looks amazing and definitely plan on trying it out on my next trip to LA. I understand the craze from Texas style bbq being born and raised in Austin, I just wish these other states had their own style of BBQ. I don't necessarily want TX bbq everywhere I go.

I finally started traveling for bbq to a few different states but do travel to TX to visit family 7 to 9 times per year. I have tried Moos; my experince wasnt as good as Ants in this video. The only places i have found TX Bbq is in Texas. Same as KC BBQ, NC BBQ, and so on. The meat was cooked spot on but lacked in flavor for me. Nothing wrong with CA BBQ but its CA BBQ. Great video but will go back to try that burger. 👍
