Super break Blade does work in AS , but the difference between it and regular Blade isn't that big if you have a good build.Also I hear that it is better to use a crit build when playing crit dps in super break, but I haven't tested them myself

It does work better running crit stats using a break relics sets and break effect rope

@@moikha226 somebody already did and it’s uploaded here in YT, just search for it. It’s just a tad different compared to classic crit build. Better to build him as usual.

yeah the crit thing is lowkey good. i just havent maxed my supports. at most, i got blade to deal around 150k per attack with his signature relic and broken vow

The problem with the super break builds is that you can put any character as a "main DD". The main thing for them is to have max character level, and more or less decent toughness efficeincy break. Anything else won't change much. So it´s more suitable for characters who have their kit tailored to superbreak, or break in their traces (or selfbuff for break)

He honestly needs a rework of his kit or perhaps an increase to his damage scaling. He’s being powercrept so bad by newer 4star destruction units like Xueyi or Misha. It’s so sad to see a 5 star unit that has a unique playstyle turn into a laughing stock. I have a well built E0S1 blade with 9k HP 76Cr 204Cd and my Xueyi slaps harder than him. 😢

It's so sad to see bc blade's actually still my favorite destruction unit paystyle wise, he defines what destruction paths actually needs to be which is TANKY Only him (and clara to an extent) follows that archetype pretty nicely, along with yunli ig (as expected from both huaiyan's disciples)

I used 101 speed Blade E0 S1, Fuxian E0 S0, 162 speed Sparkle E0 S1, and Ruan Mei E0 S0 to handily clear the first half of apocalyptic shadow. He's still hanging in there! Also one of my favorite characters. I hope we get a more specific buffer for him, though. Great comparison between the break and normal builds for Blade. I never considered break Blade.

he works better as a subdps. As someone who receives damage from time to time. Not hyper carry

@@OlexiVR A subdps for who tho? Jingliu and Jade have stronger teams (and Jade would like e1 if you want to take her out of PF so she can still stack quickly)

You could've used Firefly's 4p set for the defense ignore I think the damage would've been significantly higher

I am running my E0S1 Blade with E0S0 Luocha, E0S0 Sparkle and E1S0 Bronya. Both girlies have slightly above 160 speed... This team cleares the 1st half of version of the current Pure Fiction (Physical, Quantum) for usually 35k but once managed to clear at 40k. Very happy with the team, I ADORE Blade in every way, will wait for his Eidolons, want him as E6S1

I ended up using Blade E0S1 in break team, normal crit build, (maybe on the weaker side) 7,5k HP, 63/142 (out of combat), in Superbreak against the Doomsday Beast. Cleared with 3479 points. 122 spd so pretty slow too. Used his normal team (Luocha, Bronya, Robin) against Kafka at first and got 3300+. Problem was, no other character could break the Doomsday Beast quickly enough so that side at best got 3100 pts. Until I switched Blade for Ratio in the first half and used Blade Superbreak in the second. 3300+ for Ratio and 3400+ for Superbreak Blade. This AS too, I've gotten 3400 with Blade normal team against Aventurine. So fun to see him dishing 350k crits when Bronya and Robin's buffs align and Aventurine is weakness broken😂

I was surprise how super cool Blade synergies with March 7, Robin and Huohuo in first half of AS. I had 3300 points and I think it's good for e0 characters👌

thing with blade and super break is blade want to be hit by enemy so he can act as many as possible, but break enemy cannot attack. Therefore in the case of Blade/Yunli/Clara, CRT build will definitely outperform superbreak build.

I experimented with this build before Boothill and Firefly came out, and I’m ashamed to say it… it is very good and very fun. I used it in SU for swarm disaster 5 (stuck on it for months), used it in G&G conundrum 8, pure fiction, and MoC until Boothill came out.

yeah that doesn't seem very good lol. But imagine star rail adds enemies that take like 50-60% less damage when they're broken to nerf superbreak in the future. That would be wild

While Fu Xuan is decent in double crit-DPS comps for her bonus crit rate, she struggles to properly support Blade by giving him sufficient healing. Blade wants as much HP as possible when using his Ult because the damage partially scales off of how much HP he has lost - but with Fu Xuan, he often doesn't have very much HP to lose at that point.

Essentially if you already have the 3 needed elements (Hydro, Dendro and Electro) you can make the 4th unit a 'flex' and use whoever as a driver

The thing with the superbreak dependent DPS is that they have the weakness implant, without it they become poop if your other team cant break the toughness bar. Also the content is very catered to super break and blade ready does not have supports perfectly catered for his needs like firefly.
