Magnus talks about a V14 the same way I talk about a V4. "I got the first few moves, I'm feeling optimistic!" 2 minutes later. "How is this humanly possible???"

Honestly my favorite part about climbing, Seeing people do things that don't look possible. Then eventually looking back at it and going "oh damn I guess I might be able to do that".

Your "only hard bouldering" Videos are by far my favorites on your channel. Please never stop making them :) The way you explain the problems you have with the different parts of the boulders and then your route to solve them really helped me to send problems out of my league.

It would be cool to see you try the kilterboard 8B+ problem as a kind of projekt video, over a longer amount of time. As a newbie climber i many of my harder climbs are projekts and take several sesions to complete, so it would be cool to see you doing the same (and maybe throwing out a tip here or there ;))! P.s. hard climbing videos are great!!

@@MPHshoots You could create a potential v18. If you did that, you'd quickly realize that it is not doable making it impossible to grade but it would still technically be a v18 if someone were to actually do it. This would be accidental though. Thank you for this video. You put into words us climbers naturally feel but never know how to describe. Your insight when trying hard problems displays the feelings I get when trying hard problems as well. I climb hard until I fall and workout the moves after. I break the climb into parts and see which move I need to practice to connect them. Same with the slab problem. Sometimes my gym sets these comp style climbs where I have to run and hop. I also think about it like as a dance but never realized it. I would spend time in my room just practicing the steps so it feels natural for my feel to move a certain way. Then when I get on the wall I can apply micro adjustments because the pacing and balance is out of the way. I can get many good attempts because my balance and rhythm are tuned to the climb. some days I feel terrible doing the sequence, but other times I can just blast through the problem.

I am not sure what you think about this or if you maybe already have done it in a previous video i missed but here is the idea anyways: i would love to get a few closer shots of the boulder problem before you try it. It would be nice to have a better idea of how the holds are set up and how much of an angle the wall is at. I think that would allow the viewer to get an even better understanding of how hard some of those boulder-problems really are.
