I was so happy to see you make comment about the simply bar. I used to be an avid lover of this bar and was so disappointed when they reformulated it. It's so much drier and unpleasant with macros that are not as good. I was so confused as to why they made the changes. I can't imagine their getting a good response from their regular consumers. loved the review.

The Kirkland bars and quest bars taste like a warm cookie right out of the oven if you air fry them at 350 for 3 or 4 minutes. (Those are the two I purchase) Love eating them this way

I used to LIVE on the pure protein bars when I was in high school, they were so good! Its cool you even included some plant based bars like the simply protein bars. I think I gravitate more towards protein shakes than protein bars nowadays though, or just try to eat protein-rich foods. Protein bars are just too expensive for me now haha

Thank you for this video!! I'm always looking for a good protein bar for times when I need something on-the-go. So far, my favorite is Fit Crunch from Robert Irvine. It's sooooo delicious!! I've never heard of the Cico brand or Grenade, so I'll have to keep an eye out for them. I would love for you to do a ranking of "healthy" ice cream (like Halo Top)! Ice cream is my weakness.

I really like CICO bars as well. They are coming out in birthday cake flavor which is my favorite. Pure protein makes a good birthday cake as well.

You should totally do a review of all the Quest bars! Birthday cake is definitely hit or miss but I SWEAR by the blueberry muffin and oatmeal chocolate chip cookie flavors. They’re so delicious. 💯

I do agree with the builder bars, I was forsing myself to eat them as they had 20gs of protien, and prefered them out of the choices at Costco. Swapped to Grenade's bars, i absolutley love them, White Chocolat salted peanut is my favourite flavor, white chocolate cookie is my runner up

Try Barebells Protein Bars. The Chocolate Dough and Salty Peanut are the two I've tried. They are both delish. 20 G protein, 7 g fat, 1 g sugar. They do have the sugar alcohol malitol, which not everyone can digest, though.

I have to get my hands on a Grenade bar now! Built bars are ridiculously chewy- I remedy that by nuking them for 10 seconds only--their best flavors are the coconut (just like an almond joy) and cookies and cream and hands down no one can beat their macros. Thanks for trying that Builder's bar so I won't touch those next time I go to Costco! lol

Honestly the best one I’ve found good so far is mid day squares if you check the ingredients they’re so clean and doesn’t cause me bad sugar spikes,super delicious and it keeps full for so long which is a bonus ! I highly recommend the brand plus they’re based in Montreal 🍁 🙌🏼

Builders bar only has one good bar the vanilla one but it is high in cal and sugar. Thanks mama tenny for the insight. I haven't tried many of these so it helps with your taste test before I spend my funds.

I enjoyed this video. Doing reviews on protein bars would be challenging in my opinion because we all like different textures and flavors. I see so many people loving the birthday cake quest bar and the build bars. I dont eat protein bars unless I dont have food for whatever reason. I always have a Pure Protein Bar in my purse. I would rather eat food than a protein bar. Thanks for this. May need to try one of your favorite picks.

But I recommend other flavors, the peanut butter cup was just aight in my opinion. The s’mores, blueberry cobbler, and lemon cake are where it’s at. I know Will said you guys had trouble getting Barebell Bars in Canada, but if you can smuggle them in somehow, those are seriously the best.

I like to warm the bars up and eat them as a dessert. I typically eat Pure Protein bars but BSB protein crisp and Robert Irvine's peanut butter chocolate bar taste great too.

I'm a big fan of the built bars, I usually go for either the Chocolate Mint or the Peanut Butter. Especially heated up in the microwave for about 10 seconds they get super soft and chewy.

So far best tasting protein bars I've ever had here in the UK are the 'PHD nutrition, smart bar, birthday cake flavour' Most other bars to me range from edible to ok

EDIT: grenade, salted caramel. OMG I cant stop eating them. by a far the best protein bar I've ever had. I'm not even a salted caramel person but it tastes so good. and has an amazing bobbly chocolate chip type texture on the outside. one of the best chocolate bars I've ever eaten and it's a protein bar!

Carb killa are THE BEST!! Legit chocolate bars. I love the salted caramel one so much, it’s like a mars bar. The built have fantastic macros but I don’t like most of the flavours I’ve tried (chocolate, cookie dough, salted caramel). Sickely sweet and sooo artificial. The white chocolate cookies and cream and the birthday cake are better tho. The pure protein are indeed the cheapest, pretty good macros too but taste goes with it… chocolate is meh, cookie dough is decent, maple, salted caramel and birthday cake are better. Ones aren’t too bad but pretty dense too, they’re similar to quest so I’ll always choose quest before. Which is decent on its own but soooo much better heated up it’s goes from like 6.5 to 8.

I wish the Built bar and Greg Douche bars are available in australia coz i really want to try them, just for the sake of curiosity! 😄But it is a funny and interesting take from different people. I myself not a fan of any choc bar in general so i found that i don't like what most people like. I myself love the dense and abit chewy texture (or sm people call it chalky?). Hence i have Quest bday cake flavour ones in my pantry and i love them so much i bought 1 dozen of those! 😍

I wish you had done the Think Bar, Mama Tenny. The Chocolate Peanut Butter is my favorite. Like a less sweet Reeses Cup. Also, I think the Clif Builder is supposed to be more of a meal replacement energy bar. That's why the sugar content.

You know what would be interesting? Taking a few of these beauties and take them to the lab to see if the calories and macros a actually what they claim. Because as far as I understand a lot of foods are seriously mislabeled and calories^ protein, carbs etc can be 25-30% off on many of them. So if something looks too good to be true it probably is not much different from a sneakers bar

Have you tried Think bars, they're really good! Or Anabars? I actually love Builders Bars and Cliff Bars for a Vegan Protein Bar, but Veg peeps have a very different Macro standard. I do wish Builders Bars were made with half the sugar (they actually have 16g not 17g) and stevia, but they are a delicious candy bar like replacement!

This was so interesting. Grenade is one that I have tried and have to agree, it's definitely one of the better ones. I, THINK, my favourite was a white chocolate one but I'm not 100%. In Australia we don't have many of those but I'm so glad to hear someone else doesn't like the extremely hyped up Quest bars. I think they taste like cardboard and I remember having half of one and my stomach threw a major spaz from it. I'm curious about Coach Greg's bar but did I see correctly that the information on the screen said the bar was 61g of fat? I'll double check that but I'm sure that's what I saw. Anyway, this was a lot of fun to watch. 😊💜

Me and everyone I know that’s tried the builders bars think they’re delicious! Can’t even tell it’s a protein bar tbh. I love those and the One bars. Two of my favorite brands 🤷‍♀️ I guess we just have different taste mama Tenny 😕

Yes, thank goodness we all have different tastes or there’d only be one bar on the market!😂 The Builders was more the macros for me, calories higher, and I try to avoid the higher sugar bars especially since I’m having them as a snack. Appreciate you commenting! 😘 And several people have said I should try the blueberry cobbler One bar, which I’ll do!

The CICO bar is my favorite!! I don’t like the Costco and quest bars - texture sucks in my opinion. It makes me gag just thinking about it.

Omg, you are way too kind! No magic, I’ve never had the darkness under eye thankfully. Use lots of moisturizer, sunscreen, facials, drink lots of water… and a whole lot of luck! 🍀Not under eye, but forehead and crows feet a little botox now and then 🤫
