@@ErinRobinson it really isn’t as hard as it seems! You just put a layer of pineapple (and cherries if you like them) on the bottom of the pan and pour over a butter/brown sugar mixture before you add the cake batter.

Dont have a Whole Foods here in Myrtle but most of those Publix also has and so I'm gonna have to try them. Usually my go to there is a cannoli with chocolate chips. Or chocolate dipped strawberries. But I have had their Chantilly Cake and its fantastic. Oh and their key lime pie is legendary.

I think you love the Chantilly cake is because it’s made with butter normally and the sweetness tends to be more balanced than other cakes. It’s my favorite kind of cake because of the texture and less sweet. On another note I understand your husbands struggles. I’ve had two surgeries in the past two months and if they don’t work, then I’m going to have to get a hysterectomy. I’m 39 years old by the way, I think we’re around the same age. I am sorry about your fertility struggles, I have known since I was 12 I could not have children. Since I know you want them I hope that it works out for you.

I do think one of my biggest fears in life is getting a food allergy. What can't you eat?

@@ErinRobinson I think had I developed the allergies as a baby it would have been an easier transition. Mine began and continue to expand since I turned 21. It is awful! Dairy, gluten, wheat, peanuts, all other legumes, all tree nuts minus coconut, eggs, shellfish minus clams and mussels, avocado, mushrooms, plums and dates and the list continues. I feel like my body is constantly betraying me. 😩 It is so difficult to eat anywhere. It is so difficult not to get exposed, whether accidentally or purposely. I hope one day medicine advances enough that all allergies are easy to get rid of since living with them is really exhausting.

Never had a Napoleon before?!? We need to get you out to Brooklyn to try out some Italian bakery classics. The Whole Foods version does not do it justice. My cousin used to get his daughter's birthday cakes from there, and chocolate was always better than the yellow cake. They don't use artificial colors in the stuff they make. And they also partner with local bakeries to feature unique items. I haven't been there in a few years, but I used to like the brown butter rice krispie treats they sold right in front of the bakery. I don't know what made them so great, but they were SO GOOD!

Love the dress - it’s Dorothy vibe in the best way. We have local grocery stores that have their bakery case filled by some outside bakery specialties and donuts like blue star. I find the vegan selection are better than real stuff. Maybe trying vegan sweets would be interesting. 😁💕❤️

Whole Foods is my fun food store. I get all the vegan desserts and the frozen croissants 🥐. A super special breakfast on Holidays!! ❤ We brought out daughter to NYC for her birthday this past December. They had a huge plate of desserts made and put in our room at “The Kimberly Hotel” ( a MUST stay in Manhattan). She had tiramisu cake for the first time that day. She would LOVE your #1 pick!

Red velvet cake is not chocolate cake. It is vanilla cake with a tiny bit of cocoa and usually vinegar or buttermilk, which is why people who don’t like super sweet cake for red velvet.
