There are positives (always competitive w/ revenue sharing & most teams have their own stadium and training facilities) and negatives (complacency with some of the cheaper clubs) But we’ve come a long way within 29 seasons.

Kraft fully funded Gillette stadium as well and the land prices in Foxborough were a lot cheaper than Boston, Hartford or Providence. That, along with the fact that Foxborough is less than an hour drive from Boston, Providence and Worcester is the reason why Gillette stadium is in Foxborough

Love the words about our soccer scene as well, we are growing in our own unique (and sometimes cringey) way, but it has grown 10-fold even just in the last few years. Hi! New England local. The Revolution are easily the worst run team in town with the worst owners (great NFL owners, horrid football owners). We hate our coach and we hate the way it’s run. We have essentially the same roster as when we were top of MLS, but we’ve mismanaged our way to the bottom. That said, awesome that you got to come experience the city and the club! It was impossible to get a ticket, but looked like you guys had an amazing time!!!

As a Massachusetts native who's spent plenty of time in Boston over the years, this was actually a really fun video to watch because I recognized so many of the places. I knew you were stayed at the W Hotel (next to the Wilbur Theatre). You were at the Prudential Center, the duck boats, the common, Quincy Market, Faneuil Hall - I've been to all of those places at some point.

Ellis, just a quick tip if you decide to go back to a Revs game to fly into and stay in Providence, RI. That's closer to Foxboro (where the stadium is) than Boston.

Nah man Boston’s got the better view, but Sears Tower is (by far) the more beautiful building. The difference for me with the view is that New England (and specifically Boston harbor) is way more naturally pretty, whereas Chicago is the most architecturally beautiful city on earth. Boston is prettier from the sky, but nothing beats Chicago from the river. I’d like to think I’m not biased here since my two homes in my life have been Chicagoland and New England lol. Ellis should definitely visit Chicago, but the best view from the top of a skyscraper is Boston

As a New Englander I gotta say Gillette would be a lot better if it weren’t in Foxborough lol. It’s just not easy to get to from anywhere (except maybe Providence). It’s obviously a nice stadium, but being in the middle of nowhere in a sea of parking lots is just not a good vibe. Still, happy to see my beautiful region on this channel!

Honestly MLS games are pretty entertaining still. and the value is crazy good compared to Europe! I watched a few Vancouver Whitecaps games at BC Place, and the cost was nothing in comparison to even Championship level games in the UK!

You should come watch the Columbus Crew. Best team in the MLS and voted to have one of the best stadiums in the country. Being a local supporter we have average selling out our stadium and the games are genuinely so class. Would be worth the visit.

I've been to exactly the same places as this video. Very exciting. Except I wasn't tricked into going on a duck tour - which is a scam, because you can see everything by standing on a bridge, and standing on bridges is free. I suppose there's less chance you'd be overtaken by despair and try to end it all by jumping from an amphibious vehicle, but for like $70 I'd take the risk. And I did. And I'm fine.

You need to come to a lower league match in America. Detroit is probably the best atmosphere in the US, but there are a lot of great atmospheres even at the lower leagues like in Annapolis in the NPSL (4th tier)

I'm a Minnesota United fan. It can snow for at least the first month and last part of the season. It has been over 100 degrees F on the pitch in July and August. But the dedicated stadium for MNUFC doesn't have a roof. Target field and University of MN football stadium do not have roofs. It can snow in April in MN and as early as October

What a beautiful day to be on top of the Pru -- spent my childhood close to Boston and have never had a clear day like that! City of Champions including the Revs would have been inaccurate -- six MLS Cup final appearances without a win now? Also, you'll rarely see the stadium that full for MLS unless it's a David Beckham, Leo, superstar type player there. MLS is not watchable in my opinion but great video.
