I was in a similar position to you in terms of having been weight training for many years before getting X3 (all forms of it from bodybuilding to more powerlifting type stuff; I've seen and been through it all when it comes to weights) and without doubt when an X3 set is done PROPERLY and to COMPLETE FATIGUE/FAILURE to where you legitimately can't even move the bar anymore despite your best efforts, it's got to be up there with some of the hardest resistance training exercise you'll ever do in your life. Some people just can't hack the intensity it brings when done properly unfortunately and that's on them. They just won't see the full results of what the product can bring...

The thing about this system people always forget about is that the equipment is only half of the equation. To get the maximum results, you have to also follow the recommended diet that goes with it. That diet (which is a carnivore diet) fundamentally changes how your body functions, including building muscle and burning fat. The fact that this guy outright dismisses the book without even reading it just shows how dogmatic people can be. So i can guarantee he didn't follow the recommended diet.

If you have the space you can find budget options really good ones if you wait for a sale for that kind of money I got something like 120kgs in weights 2 benches, 1 set of bar supports, dumbbell bars, and a barbell bar for something like 500EUR(also a 2 bands for very specific workouts) and you can get away with less if you really wanna(there are tons of every effective bodyweight exercises that can make up for lack of equipment, you do need some though)...so working at home if like me you're time constraint is definitely doable effective and you don't need to go to a gym unless you're at least intermediate level(I think?..not sure on that not at that level yet...but you could probably get to something like 150kgs on a barbell in a home setup...didn't see barbells rated for more and also supports don't often go beyond that either...) because then the cost of pro equipment isn't justified for home use unless you have the cash for that convenience.

Resistance bands are amazing. That X3 bar is expensive though. I use resistance bands with a sissy squats machine I bought for $25 and use that as a platform. There is a small enough gap in the bottom to slide a heavy band underneath it. Secondly, I use a pull up tower for other different workouts. That said, I am never going back to machines or regular weights. The resistance bands burn the muscle immediately. No joint point.

No. You didn't. These bands are not Walmart bands, and this program, if done correctly, is not for the faint of heart. I've been lifting for 20 years, and there isn't a freeweights workout that compares. It's just a totally different type of fatigue in the muscle and the soreness you get from it isn't comparable. Not in intensity or whatever, just in the overall feel. Its.... Deeper, somehow. I love lifting weights, I have the X3 bar and free weights and regularly use both. The X3 is way less impact on my joints than the weights, and if I want an insane burn I'm hitting the X3. But for you to say that you "got the same exact results" from cheap Walmart bands is laughable and ridiculous, and I do mean that in the literal sense.
