The T7 will doing everything the Africa Twin dreams of. You don’t need rider modes

When I bought mine it hit the off-road first and it was a long while before I took it on the road. This bike just begs you to take the least traveled path. I recently started using it on the road and I still like it. Simplicity is what I wanted and it delivers. I’m used to old school simple bikes so I feel at home with this bike on or off-road. Just be aware it is heavy to pickup.

Noice! How is the bike?

I rode it on the road and was also underwhelmed Ended up with the Tracer 7 because like you said 99% of my riding is on road… for an occasional trail to a camp ground or a nice vista point my Tracer 7 is fine. Flat tire on your way to work on the Tenere is quite the ordeal compared to the tubeless rims and tires on the Tracer. I think that if they were doing tubeless spoked wheels(like the Vstrom650xt has) and cruise control it would definitely persuade me… Aprilia Tuareg is not an option for me.

Sadly with test rides you can’t really take the bike to its natural home, off road. Riding only on the road benefits the largest bikes, they feel more stable and powerful, even comfort feels better, but an adventure bike has to feel good off the black stuff or it is just another big heavy touring bike, when the going gets harder the Tenere gets better, in my opinion, it is definitely more dirt focused, the AT is a great bike and handles the dirt good but less weight and less power is so much easier on the dirt, unless you are a retired hard enduro or world trials rider.

In my opinion all the electronics are unnecessary, all you need to do is ride the bike and there is less to go wrong

Are the hand guards braced or flings plastic?
@mrams05043 жыл бұрын
just plastic, one of the first things I replaced, but those OEM on Africa Twin are not any better :)

How do you judge a bike by riding it for 30 minutes at only about 3000 rpm ??
@advRedseven2 жыл бұрын
No one is judging nothing, Glenn! Its an amateur review, like its well said in the video. Personal preferences are just that: personal.

Warum sprechen Sie eigentlich Englisch in dem Video? Sie leben doch in Deutschland. Videos in Englisch gibt es schon genug zu dem Moped. Deutsch wäre nicht schlecht gewesen.

True, but we’re lazy people who don’t speak German plus a wider audience…..
