Hey I have a fun idea for a challenge. I don't know if someone already did this so... 1. You place down all the furniture you think you need in a house. (don't forget decor) 2. You build a shell and place down doors, windows, flooring, wallpaper and a roof 3. You decorate the house ONLY with the stuff you have placed down before and you can't delete anything so if you don't have space for it, make space for it bc you can't delete it 4. You can't add more stuff so for example if you forgot a trashcan before you built the shell you don't get one. 5. You can't change the shell after you started putting your furniture in 6. You also can't change doors, windows, flooring or wallpaper 7. you can do the outside freely *one more rule is that you can't change the swatch after you built the shell so have funn Hope you get it :) PS; u will probably need a big lot. Someone did this when I commented this earlier and called it the preplace challenge and that's basically it haha

I cleaned houses for 12 years. There was a house that stood out to me and will stand out to me forever. the master bedroom has two closets. both big enough to fit a king sized bed. they were on either side of the Texas king mattress in the master bed room. the closets led to a huge bathroom that had two toilets each in their own mini rooms. in the middle of the toilet rooms was this massive jacuzzi that you would immediately fall into. then off the each toilet room was a counter with double sinks. there was enough room to dance properly in the bathroom. And it wasn't even half of that particular level. i wish i could have that house. i could put a bed in the bathroom and just live in the bathroom.

Ooooh! I just looked up the website and for $8.99 you can get access to the virtual 360 degree tour of the entire house (unlimited access to it as you make an account). And there were no blueprints created, but due to them creating the virtual tour, there now is a room layout. So..... totally possible to attempt to recreated on a 60x60 lot. Going to need it with the number and size of the rooms it has!

My friend in high school lived in a split-level house where the top/main floor had pink carpet, “stinky” linoleum in the kitchen, and a shower/tub combo, while the bottom floor had beige carpet, a tub with no shower, and one of the bedrooms had this EXACT wood paneling on the walls. You basically built their house upside down (except the exterior of their house was not ridiculous).

Depends on what style of 70s we're going for honestly.. Some was just extremely gaudy and they knew it - that was the whole point. Some were pretty neat though, but it's usually harder to find the good ones.

I found the floor plan for this house. It is really quite a large house. 4 bed, 3 bath. I had to put it on a 40x30 lot to get it to fit. There is a bedroom behind the garage. The stairs are in the middle, they come out at the middle back of the 2nd fl. I think you got the era right, there is a family room with a snack bar off of the kitchen. That seems 70ish to me. Build/Gameplay Challenge Idea: Build a shell of a house (with a roof) and every item that involes creating furniture and decor. Bring a sim there and make the sim create all of the furniture in the house. The sim also starts with zero simoleons The sim also saves up enough money to get doors, windows, wallpaper, and any items you can't make ONLY using the stuff that they made. You can use plopsy. Also, the house can or cannot have electricity or a floorplan when you make the shell that is up to you. The house I live in right now was built in 2002, almost the entire thing is blue carpet. The areas that aren't blue carpet, are blue linoleum. (Except my bathroom which I redid because it was terrible, I have stone tile in there and it is nice)
