2:50 I think the Get to Work matches are from the Detective career. Your sim can search for evidence, and find objects like gloves and shoes. The matches are most likely crime evidence

7:29 - "This flamingo" comes from The Sims 1. Same model. I love that it's in the game. It's a throwback/homage to that lawn flamingo that every Sim would kick down. :D (And I've never been a fan of The Sims 4 lawn flamingo... just because it's not _the_ _same_ as the original).

Video idea: Find one of the empty house shells from the world background, and re-create it as exactly as you can (maybe start on a big lot so you can place it down and have room to build too, then move to a smaller lot when you're tone building), then furnish the interior. The packs you can use are limited to the game/expansion pack the shell came from + basegame + whatever stuff packs you want. So for example if it is a house from Windenburg you can use Get Together, Basegame, and whatever stuff packs you want, but you can't use Seasons or Parenthood.

This is an old-ish video but I just cannot get this idea out of my head, for a story explanation for this build: This looks like it would be set years after in a post-apocalyptic world, where this overgrown building is somehow either part of a whole other structure, maybe like a mall, or maybe an overgrown restaurant on its own. Our hypothetical MC is either part of a group of people who changed the mall into a home/city base, or did this themselves in an abandoned mall, and this is their way of trying to get back to somewhat normalcy. Because the commentary throughout this really gave me the 'This is Fine' Dog' vibes, but if he were surrounded by a slowly crumbling run-down building covered in plants and foliage, rather than fire.

Hey Kayla/anyone reading this, I usually don’t ever comment, especially not about asking for help, but my community and the communities south of mine were hit directly by hurricane Laura this week, and I know many that are struggling. In the debug catalog there's also something you could've used as floor. I think it's from get famous, it's a stone slab. So it could have been all debug, instead of using terrain paint :P

Trash shoots work normally in all houses and they aren't debug items and they are free - I have been shouting about them in your last few videos. Especially in those videos where you have money limit. Interestingly apartment mailboxes also work - and can be used as the real mailboxes people have nowadays in their houses.

I tried this once. My sims had no kitchen and a large hole to walk through to get in the house. I just wanted to see if I could build something usable just using debug. Yours looks so much nicer than mine.

(I got this idea from another comment with the name of Tea) Every room is a different size as in you soon to see how big they are, for example you bathroom could roll 3×6 or a kitchen might roll 8×4. You can roll once to get the first number and again to get the second number.

There is an community bathroom in Outdoor Retreat and Jungle Adventure that costs nothing in debug. You can also take a shower there, then after that you can use the woohoo bush for a bed. Not to mention there are ponds that you can fish in, if you put the sign out that is. I wonder if you can use one of the portals from ROM as a door--although you can't lock it.

Day 138 of commenting until Lilsimie does my friend's reno challenge: My friend (Bundeswehr37) posted a build on the gallery that's called Beutiful Tou Berdaam, and it's meant as an extreme renovation challenge (it's really hard and looks weird). You can either try to just renovate and keep it looking similar, or you can follow his rules: After placing, cheat money to 25k Keep similar layout and structure Please please try it!!!

I did that challenge for a Rags to Riches play, and I used something from CL, IDK what it is called but it has an opening on one side and I used like a poster or a sign from debug as a door. There are lots of items in debug you can use, from outdoor lights, fishing ponds and fishing posts as well. Too bad there isn't fruit trees that give fruit--your sim will be set, or at least be off to a good start.
