You may need to take a few days or maybe even weeks off to make sure you don't do permanent damage depending on if its inflamed or starting to tear. Man this only further seems to highlight my incompetence, you're able to go from a disastrous start into 70 divines profit in the time played that I take to get single digit divines. The worst part is that I am a veteran player, and I know what I should be doing but I just somehow do something incredibly wrong. Probably spending too much time in the map, or not filtering out enough items etc etc. But this once again reinforces the fact that I need to get my shit together! Thanks for the content though! Focus on an end game mechanic, what you enjoy. Use scarabs and farm in maps that you clear fast, does not have to be t16

Could you describe what you are farming and how you are doing it? For Example its super important that you support your current Strategy with scarabs. I know that a lot of newer players dont use scarabs, which leads to way way slower wealth increase. Also prep Maps to run, it Helps to Not have to roll each map after you completed your last map. Put 40 or so in a tab use a regex and roll them in bulk. Last you probably have more Money in your stash than you know, check bulk prices of bubble gum currencies like essences or Other stuff. Maybe this Helps a bit

@@YunalaiEmpress You are correct in the scarab department, I am currently not using any when I probably should. So I'm doing 2 separate farms, the primary one is alva+blight on toxic sewers. Temples I find are generally decently reliable (if the game doesn't rng screw you by not giving you corruption t3). And blight on toxic sewers seems to give me a good amount of general drops (although the oils and blighted maps so far have been a little unlucky). As mentioned I haven't used any scarabs with these, the blight scarabs seem both very expensive and probably will make me fail the encounter. The alva scarabs seem to generally be for having more mobs in the encounter, rather than for building the temple, and the one that drops extra itemised temples with randomized room tiers is probably one I should use when I do get a corruption chamber on the map though. The second strategy is because the connected map for when I run out of toxic sewers (I hate trading for maps) is expedition+betrayal on underground sea. This one has just been very unlucky, I haven't dropped a single logbook in over 20 maps, which is definitely just really bad luck as usually expedition drops me one every other map or so. It happens. Same goes with betrayal, I'm 7 catarina fights in and haven't gotten a veiled orb. Once again I haven't used any scarabs, which is definitely a mistake I should at the very least be using the 'more runic monsters' one for expedition. In general I seem a little hesitant in investing currency in scarabs in the fear that I either fail the encounter or just don't get my investment back because the price is based around some optimal strategy and in t17s. Which is probably an unfounded fear. Also map rolling in bulk is definitely something I should do, and will start doing now, I keep thinking "it doesn't matter that much" but it does, it adds up the amount of time I'm looking at my map and the mods and if I can run it or not. @@sebyt8 yeah I assume that is a large reason for me. I take way too long in maps, I'm sure I take over 10 minutes per map. And spend too much time outside of my map. If I take 3 times longer than most people in maps, then 9 hours grinding for me is 3 hours for someone else. I really need to stop full clearing, I just somehow automatically revert to doing so once I shut my brain off. Because it's not that I can't make currency, it's just that I'm way slower.

As a fellow old man, I can't recommend highly enough a USB foot pedal. The one I got has 3 pedals which I map to left click, right click, and spacebar ( my movement skill). This frees up just using the mouse to point and has greatly reduced/eliminated the hand pain.

@@Aokimarcel I had shoulder surgery at the start of last league and tried foot pedals, since for 4 weeks I couldnt use my left/keyboard arm. Ultimately what I did was make the most use of my right/mouse hand. Map scroll wheel up and down to 2 different things. 3 mouse buttons. Then I ordered a gaming mouse with 3 extra minibuttons on the sides. Thats 8 total skills I can use with just my mouse. You may want to check that out as an alternative to foot pedals. But those do work as well. I ultimately didnt care for them, but many people do.

Not sure if you are already doing it. But the biggest thing i ever did for my hand health in poe is to change the bind in the middle mouse button to space bar and alway put my main skill there. Just holding down space bar is waaaay easier on the hands than spaming right click. Gl and hope you get better!

Been running Guardian/Conquorer Destructive Play rotations with full Boss/Essence/Scarab tree. Basically blast white T16, upgrade essences that are appropriate, collect loot, kill boss (and additional map bosses) for fragment and special drops from the tree. Then do your Maven Invitations when they come up for extra bonus. Good cash, and all the loot is easy to liquidate. Basically a better version of T6 Essence farming if you have the DPS

If you have more annuls than anything while running Legions, thats probably not because you got unlucky; There is Harbinger reward icon that could drop one, and doesn't give you ex/divine option (maybe it does drop exalt but very rare, just as harbingers do compared to annuls).

Have to say, Ice Shot of Penetration mines + juiced Legion is one of the most satisfying things in PoE. When multiple screens fills with ice explosions and you pop entire legions without moving... good times.

Have you tried or considered wrist stabilizers? A few leagues ago I got some compression gloves with wrist straps and while the gloves themselves didn't seem to help the wrist straps helped _immensely_. After that I picked up a few no-name brand velcro wrist stabilizers and I've had very few issues since.

Hey, as someone that also has occasional wrist problems from overuse as well, I got one of those little "wrist widget" brace things and it's really helped me personally, helps lock my wrist so I have to use my arm more and helps put less strain on the wrist. Could be something you could look into, they're a little pricey unfortunately, but has been worth it for me.

I got one as well, but honestly, more rest is the best solution. If you get the brace and keep overplaying, youre moving the issue up the arm. Take more breaks to rest your wrist, and your eyes as well.

Farmed legion for ab five days and bought myself a foil hh. The biggest issue with this strat is that you have to farm tons of mats to bulk sell, or sell stuff manually, which is what i did unfortunately. Incubators sell slowly but are a tremendous portion of your income, so dont forget to list diviner, ornate, and skittering every once in a while. Very good strat though, theres a reason why so many people recommend legion with beyond and deli.

I don't think that the emblems being cheap is just about 5-way demand being low, because the supply is far more overall. Previously splinters would just rot in people's stashes but now they are almost immediately liquid. Gold farming being a concern is also pretty huge, which is probably what has killed demand, but the emblems just move far more easily now.

Something you can try if you feel like it. Rebinding your main attack to something else than right click really makes a huge difference. I know it sounds weird at first but after 1-2 sessions it will be completely normal. It completely removed all the strain I had on my right hand when playing.

Yea, my main attack skill is always the E key for me. Right click is usually for things I don't need to cast that often, like curses or golems or things like that. Totems, if I ever play them is always on my tab key. I also have two flasks on my mouse so I never feel like one hand is being over used. One of the first tips I picked up before starting POE way back when and it's probably saved my wrist lol

I came to like curse on R button, movement on mouse under thumb (using these go forward/go back buttons on 5-button mice). Now that I swapped to Eviscerate/Lacerate on my glad, I also use Q and W for that. E as my enduring cry RMB is strictly Cyclone to proc Maim and my life on hit when I'm not having Eciscerate up. Because of it I'm considering dropping Lacerate, but lately I had some bosses/maps where I had to use Lacerate. I need to consider dropping hexbloom for Molten Shell now, but it's the single best support in the game for clearing QoL - drop one curse, watch it proliferate outwards. Might be amazing EDC Tech for Occultist now that I think of it... jeez do I roll out trap essence drain of desperation (heard it counters life drain of skill since it's using trap as a source, not you) despite having melee league? XD so many question, not enough time to PoB.

I think in total ive made around 30 div this league. I found a div in lab after 6 hours of farming my trans gem. Just bought it. I then just started mapping and mapping and mapping. Eventually I dropped a few items worth 20-100c each. Sold those. I then bought an absolute min roll Ryslatha for 2 Div. I trade some chaos for a divine. Divined the Rys and got a Max roll Rys that sold for 8 div. I have only seen 1 Boat Div. I turned around and spent 2 on another Rys for my build and spent 1 on harvest juice to craft better gear. Turned around and sold 3 of my pieces I was wearing for around 1 div each (I had self farmed harvest to make them prior). I now currently have 5 tabs selling 5c items (Jewelry, Jewels, 86+ Bases, Influenced Items, and Frac/Synth gear) If anything is worth more than that I have it in a custom sale tab with my most expensive item currently up for 30 Div (1200Ar/1100Ev - Life on Block Shield with Open Suffix). Outside of the chaos ive made from sales the rest of my pure Div have come from Veiled Orbs. Got 4 in my first 4 Catarinas, 3 sold for 2 Div, 1 Sold for 4 Div, and my most recent (orb 5 out of 7 attempts sold for 5 Div. This has been my most profitable league so far. (Excluding Duo Magic find wildwood). With how regular Veiled Orbs are dropping im just gonna keep working on challenges (at 22/40 in 4 days) and farming Betrayal as it shows up. Ez money

When you're new my advice is not to think about the divines per hour and optimal currency making strategies. Everything is overwhelming and trying to play efficiently is a challenge even for seasoned players. Just get to know the game, pick a strategy play it see how it works out. Your most important goal is simply to gain experience (outside of the game, although leveling up ingame is nice too :D ) with the different systems the game has. On that note though, doing almost anything in the game will make you currency, some things faster than others but for the most part playing = getting more stuff. Your first priority should simply be to complete the atlas and getting your first 2 voidstones that come along with following along the eldritch questlines. Dont worry if you don't know what that means, just get maps and complete them with their bonus objectives so you get atlas passive points. Those are vital to making any strategy work.

Is it reasonable to put the emblems on the market against a divine? Someone would have to specifically go and try to buy a lot of emblems while offering a divine for them. If I were to get some emblems I'd probably choose a ratio against chaos orbs. And even if nobody tries to buy in bulk, small emblem orders will likely sell through the lot of them faster.

I need to try it I'm playing Contagion ED and already invested into it all I had So I can pop most of the legion with one cast if they are not too far away Until now I was playing Abyss and Ritual (yesterday changed to Abyss and Incursion, as Locus is worth something) It was really slow to fully complete 5 Abyss per map with often one leading to a boss, but it was giving me 10-20% of the level per map Too bad, it wasn't too profitable, as you'd need to have extremely good luck with Stygian Vise rolls (on both, Rare and Unique) or extremely good eye jewels (I still have 2 tabs of eyes to check if they are worth anything) But at least I got Enlighten and one unque jewel worth 11div EDIT: And as for the Settlers, I'm still farming gold to upgrade things. I was barely able to get 100k for last upgrade on main building So I don't even send mappers to save gold And as for the ships, I'm sending 3 boats with 1 low level on each, with just 1 bar and 12 dust each. It gives me 9 (3 per boat) random scarabs and 6 (2 per boat) random runes every 30 minutes

im literally running white guardian maps on a relic of the pact build, destructive play, selling scarabs and runes from ships. raking in money. not using any scarabs. atlas is just shrines, boxes, smuggle boxes, free safehouse intel node, and the map bosses drop guardian maps. literally zero investment per map. currency exchange makes converting all this stuff so easy. and all the bosses of course

@@yaaaamaaaa Not much. I was doing this strat for a couple days and with no scarabs you sometimes don't even drop an influenced map. The only things that are worth money are the maps, and the fragments. The maven's writ is worthless this league (30c each) and the maps you need to continue your farm, so you can really only sell what drops from mobs during your map, and you can sell your fragments. Its a bad farm, but if you have literally 0 currency, you can make a couple divines an hour maybe and then use that to fund something else.

Out of personal experience, I suggest you really take proper breaks for your wrists. A couple of years ago, I wasn't aware of RSI at all and completely ruined both of my wrists with work / PoE - and while it got much better, it never fully went away ever since, despite therapy. Really watch out - just because it doesn't hurt anymore after a break doesn't mean your wrists are ready for more stress.

Not to flex but I belive Chris Wilson himself decided to pull me out of poverty this league I was struggling for divines since Im in the military now and decided to randomly try t16 bestiary for the first time Set everything up was bout to go to sleep and start tmr but decided fuck it let's do 1 map and in the first map I immediately got vivd watcher, which double due to the scarab I was going to go sleep again since trade site was down but when I double checked the site was back up so I said fuck it we ball and bought an awakened melee splash for 15c, rerolled it and got a 50c awakened gem Was going to cut my losses and head to sleep but again I just said fuck it we ball, bought an awakened cold pen gem rerolled it and lo and behold I hit awakened spell echo Anyways that why I'm writing this comment now at Madonalds at 2am cos I'm way to pumped to fall asleep

Technically, if you send a ship to a 2 hour trip or a 40min trip and you are not with your PC, it does not change much how the result is if you just aim for currency or runes ;-) Also, to care about div/hour is silly, it is more about do you enjoy the game and your build and eventually you will make currency

yea, then you were obviously doing something wrong if you've only made 2 divines. There really isn't any other answer. You can watch other videos to see how easy it is to make money in this game. Hell I'm an old man casual gamer, and the lowest divines I've ever made is around 40ish divine during a league, and I considered that pathetic, but it's because I wasn't farming correctly.

"Wasting your time for ggg's trash rng loot" or waste your time trying to make currency... they should just remove group play all together because every fucking thing has to be nerfed so that groups don't ruin the economy. Fuck this game till group play is gone for good and they buff loot(which will be never) "streamer rng" is just one of their employees that give some people better rng, which is those who buy their supporter packs every league or those who spend a shit ton of money on cosmetics. what? did you watch the video? or is this a sarcastic comment? He didn't get a "lucky mirror shard" that's a leftover from his group play share. He made 70 divines farming this strategy. In what world is 70 divines "no currency". He set out to have a total net worth of 100 divines for a new build, that included the mirror shard he had (but didn't use for his build). EDIT: For those commenting that he has more mirror shards, he didn't drop those, he bought them with the currency he made, this is because mirrors become more valuable as time goes on, effectively making you richer over time. He didn't drop them.
