Hermitcraft is a Minecraft SMP that lots of famous KZbinrs participate in. Can I join them?
If your wondering why Xisuma said "cool guy" not "sir cluckety" it is because I recently changed my channel name from cool guy to sir cluckety. The video was made before this change happened. If you want proof, look at my old (cringe) videos.

Use reverse psychology and an indirect question then. Something like "Hello (insert hermit name here), what would you say is the chance of me possibly NOT being in the next season of Hermitcraft as one of you? I sure would like to avoid that..."

Xisuma actually said in one of his videos a while back, asking doesn’t get you far. Hermitcraft is meant to ask YOU. So your best chances (not too high) is to get pretty good at the game (redstone/building wise) and become known on KZbin. Getting noticed by the hermits themselves is hard by itself. So if you want to get on hermitcraft, start small. (This is just what he says in his video, I don’t know very much about that system)

Let's assume you would be able to join. What type of content would you actually bring? How active would you be? Don't forget you don't join Hermitcraft just because you want to, you join Hermitcraft because you want to bring something new and you want to introduce your viewers to it. Joining Hermitcraft isn't just playing for vanity's sake, it brings a lot of responsibilities as well. You're responsible for keeping your audience informed and updated. And you're supposed to cooperate with them as well, you should attend regular meetings where you discuss various important stuff, like recording, cooperation and voting. As a member, you should vote for or against new potential members, deciding whether they seem trustworthy to you or not. And this is probably why this would fail for you. There's not enough information about you, they don't know you. You have much better chance if you're a friend of one of the Hermits, because then they have at least some reference. How do you befriend a Hermit? Not by force. It's more about luck, but you won't befriend someone like that doing nothing. Do collabs, invite them to your minigames, interviews, and see how it works out. You also won't succeed much if your content doesn't comply much with pg content as well. And obviously don't attempt to befriend a Hermit just to get to Hermitcraft, that won't work eighter. They're not stupid, they will find out the truth. Hermitcraft isn't for everybody to join.

Ill be honest I dont actually play enough to join hermitcraft, I made this video because I thought it would be a funny video idea. Even if I did get a yes Id probably turn it down and just ask for a collab instead.

@@SirCluckety Fair enough. It also depends a lot on time you have. That means if you do get invited, you should asses how much time you got and decide based on that. Me for example, I am studying and working at the same time, so I have basically zero time to make content. That wouldn't work. There are Hermits that have multiple projects, and don't actually upload regularily as others do. Like for example Iskall85 does a lot of Vault Hunters content. Some Hermits are experiencing a burn out, so they're not active on KZbin right now (like Mumbo), they're regaining strength. And some Hermits have irregular schedules and this time joined fairly late (like Etho). If you do get invited, and decide to accept it, I guess the Hermits may have understanding if you're quite short on time, so they'll probably understand inconsistency in playing on Hermitcraft. I do plan to slowly begin making content once I am done with studying, however I want to stay in employment as long as possible. It will eat out a big chunk of my spare time to make content, but that's a trade off I am willing to make. I'm not going to make content solely just to make money, I want to bring joy to people with my own and distinctive way.

Let us not forget that Hermits also have to be very skilled at Minecraft, so anyone who can't build, make farms or do redstone isn't a candidate even if they meet all the other requirements.
