39:30 I just realized (either my brain being funky or the game has something to do with it) your voice changes form 'close' to 'inside a room' when you walk back into your house. It's the coolest thing to my ears. I'm glad we got kind of close to the castle tho-and more lore besides!

I really appreciate the insight because that honestly makes so much sense when I think about it, there's so many fairy tales I know that come from Germany and they're terrifying, so with Keen being a German studio, it all makes sense 😅 Right?! I was in the middle of getting things prepared for the Hollow Hall when people let me know that it's not in the game yet 😅 At least in the meantime we can get ALL the loot thought 😂

As there is already a comment: the HH only has a couple of bone guys, but does have a "chest" you can farm. People are assuming they will add a real Halls with the next update. Grats on upgrading your flame! You earned that upgrade, lol I love Polaris, so beautiful, and if we get actual flowing water, that place is going to be amazing with the waterfalls. As far as the floating place, you know we're going to have to fight our way across every one of those islands. Reminds me of Dalaran. Something to look forward to.

Yeah I saw that, this is what I get for avoiding patch notes and forums 😅 And thank you, it felt so good to finally get that done, and Polaris is gorgeous, I love locations like that and I can't wait until they add water into the game, it was on the roadmap they released ages ago, no idea when it will be but I would assume it would be a nightmare to add into the game. Oh yeah, 100% we'll need to fight our way through who knows what, we'll likely need to deal with that perimeter that the note mentioned as well, where people were getting zapped as soon as they crossed it. I can't wait until we get to go there, especially since that's where the old ancients went. Either they're still there or I'm expecting we'll get some incredible revelations about the shroud and the ancients if they're not!

LOL, love your look at life. I wanted to reach the floating castle too, so I spent a few hours mapping out the "RED" death line around it. YEP, not with this release. Maybe the floating castle will be available with the next release,

I'm so glad you do 😅 And wow that's some dedication, well I'm glad you were able to confirm it 100%, I definitely feel like it'll be in the next "major" update, I'm assuming there'll be some smaller ones in-between, but it would make sense for it to be the next big area we go to based on all the notes pointing towards the split in the Ancients and the floating castle basically being confirmed as where all the old Ancients went.

I'm glad it wasn't just me who tried 😅 And me too! I have no idea, it's either end game or it's leading us to the end game, I'd have to investigate the other areas to see if we can spot more of those beacons, but if everything beyond this point is the Ancient's land so to speak, who knows what we're in for!

I just started playing Enshrouded a few days ago. Was a bit disappointed to find out that you can't get to those floating islands you can see from the start of the game. Ah well, that's what early access is all about. We'll get there sooner or later.

It's so awesome you've picked it up! It's easily one of my favourite games 😁 They added it in with the update before the update for the mountains, so it's been taunting us for a while 😂 But yes, we will eventually get there, until then, we just have to deal with it sitting there and laughing at us 😂

@@muramasa870 Oh, I'm not disappointed in the game, far from it. But I'm a bit disappointed that you can't yet get to those interesting looking floating islands you see right from the start of the game. But like I say, it's early access. We'll get there eventually.

Just so you don't be misguiding in the next one, the hollow halls isn't accessible yet either. You only get the lobby area so not much preparation needed yet.

As learned from playing Valheim, be careful going to areas that haven't been released yet. Because if you go to them and they patch that area, your save won't show it or you'll be stuck without the newer content on that particular save.

Thank you so much for the heads up, I haven't installed anything that would let me get passed the world boundary but any curiosity I had of possibly doing it is completely gone now, if I had to start over because of something like that I think I'd just quit 😅

@michaelmccandless1280 You can't go to areas that haven't been released yet anyway, there's a red mist where you have 10 secs to escape before you die. In Valheim, you can be in the same world where you went to an "unreleased area", and explore, but all you need to do is find another patch of the same biome in that same world, no probs.

My wife and I took on that dragon as well, and I think having us in a group made it worst.. we too got on that side mountain to cheese it.. but his breath push would keep knocking us off.. we finally got him but what a pain in the buttt, and some people do it over and over.. WHY! lol

We are not originally from this world, nor were the Ancients, this is hinted at in the beginning of the game. Yet a Dark someone ( possibly a Elder Ancient ) gave us the Elixir of power knowing what it would do. Knowing how we were, regarding power, greed and all the baseness of people. A plot to figure out as the stories and lore point to what happened after the Elixir was given to us. The last boss could possibly be that very Elder Ancient. Also there is a whole set of Warm Clothes hidden in Polaris falls.

Oh that's so cool, I figured the ancients definitely were some sort of alien race, they mention "cosmic blood" a few times, but I had no idea about us being the same! It would definitely make sense that some kind of corrupt/evil Ancient wanted to see us fall, several times in the obelisks that they "knew" about the shroud and it's devastating effects so it wouldn't make sense for them to gift the elixir to us, knowing what could happen unless someone wanted that to happen. This is another reason I love this game, there's so much lore to dig into and thank you for sharing what you've been able to piece together! Also the final big boss being an evil ancient would be SO awesome 😁 And thank you for the tip on the warm clothes, I think I only showed me picking up one of the items of clothing but I did find two 😅

@@justingeneral There is a whole set in Polaris and many other sets in the game as well as a bunch of hats scattered all over the map. There is a NPC that will give you the quest for the Hats. Would have to get into the game to tell you where she is, as it's been a while since I did that. There is literally something around all most every corner of this game. And a lot of stuff hidden in the shroud. And a lot of Fossils and such to find to. lol I'm still working on the fossils and there are display stands and cabinets for them to.

Just some skeletons and a farmable sarcophagus in that hollow halls. Place an alter in it and everything.

That's actually such a cool theory! I can't tell if they're going to introduce a new biome and the water is only there or introduce it everywhere, a small part of me hopes it's everywhere but I can imagine it would be hard to do without breaking everything 😅

Hey, I just caught a couple of your recent videos on Enshrouded & they've been very entertaining. I noticed that in your garden you've still got the regular soil instead of the fertilized farm soil. Any reason for this, or just one of the upgrades you're making yourself hold back on so you are forced to get to your more "forever" base?

I'm so glad you've been enjoying them! As for the basic farm soil, it started because I didn't farm much at the start, mainly a few flowers like flaxseed and things like that for armour and never updated it, now it's further motivation to move to the new base 😅

@@justingeneral Right, I've had to grow a lot more between the animal food, better recipes for buffs, and the latest bandages. Plus the Gentian & Wolfsbane take a good bit longer to grow even with better soil. I'll have to go back & see how you started out b/c it looks like you've been playing this since just about the start of early access.

If u really want to go to floating island only way to get there currently is by using builders companion mod. It has a bunch of spire buildings on it.
