The buffet fold ones are actually meant to be picked up along with the food, which is why it is a combo of napkin and silverware that is easy to pick up and carry. Often with buffet dinners you aren’t sitting down all together at a table. You’ve either got too many people at your party and they scatter to various tables or spaces in the house or it’s an open house situation and people come and go over a period of time.
