You're an excellent guitarist. This is one heck of a song to attempt. I have a tip for learning by ear. When you practice, sing every note you play. Start with scales. Once you build up that relation in your mind, if you can sing it you can play it. It takes years to master this technique (eapecially whem you start singing harmonies to what you're playing. ie: Gilmore), but you absolutely will see positive results in your ear training right away and eventually it makes learning by ear amazingly easy, not to mention how it will help your writing and improvisation. Keep on rockin 🤘🏼

@@sebastian_can yea man. I really wanted them to work but they all had the same stuff going on. I got two of the Lava Me 2’s and a lava me 3. I ended up jumping up to the journey OF660M. Way more of a pretty penny but I’m Glad I went that way. Anyway here’s my review I put up on Amazon… I really wanted this concept of guitar to work but it wasn’t quite there. I ordered a Lava me 2 first. Noticed the neck and feet board weren’t aligned well and you could feel it. Got the second one and it had the same issue. Also it’s quiet as far as the effects/built in amp go. Then the Lava me 3 comes out and advertises better everything. The lava me 3 I ordered had the same issue on the neck as both of the 2’s I tried. The controls were intuitive if you know iPhones however there was too much going on. If they had focused just on a few effects and honing that, I would’ve appreciated that much more. The practice modes are hard to use. The body of it has rounded edges causing it to slide out of your lap unless you strap it. Which leads to the next issue I had. The strap pegs they use are proprietary and over sized. I’m sure some straps will work but not of the 8 straps I had were able to fit. You have to order there’s which is over priced and has limited color options. In addition to that, the nut on it was poorly manufactured. The action was a bit high in some strings and would buzz on others due to the unevenly cut string slots. (See photo; 3 slots on right are all same depth/width) Tuners we’re of good quality. The acoustic sound is actually pretty good but I was playing it in my garage (lots of natural reverb) and couldn’t tell if I had the free boost speaker on even when holding it up to my head. It’s a great idea but there just needs to be a few more competitors to push this idea further down the development road. The case is terrible. The lava me 2 had a worse case but they were basically the same. The new one just has a void behind the neck allowing you to take some things with you that will just rattle around on the back of the neck marring it up. The guitar is a weird size too (in between standard sizes) so there’s no ready to go case that’s a proper fit from a third party vendor out there. I hope they dial it in or more competitors pop up in the realm of guitar because it’s such a neat idea. Another thing I want to check out is the tone wood amp. Same idea as the smart part of this guitar but attaches to most acoustics. Seams neat. Anyway, If you’re looking for a good travel guitar, may your search be fruitful. 🍻
