Here's a tip for you. If you resample your pattern to a pad and set it to loop you can go to the import and listen to your breaks and drums over the loop while it plays

Back in 90’s my first set up was a 202 and turntable(not a good one) lol, and my “soundpacks” were weekly trips to thrift store for piles of crusty vinyl, but to track it back then i always would play it live into 4track or digi recorder eventually, and to this day i have yet to ever recreate or catch that “vibe” since, sound quality wise wasnt best lol, but the limitation of having to “perform” the layout of song live in realtime, you would just feel those chops in your finger tips fluidly n rock that bitch lol, it was magical, and most like “musician” ive ever felt making hiphop, just cant be recreated with daw, but unfortunately im broke and cant afford multiple set ups, so daw it is for economic reasons, but i plan to add one of this new model to rig once some success blooms and i can re invest, great vid displaying it thanks
