I only just did Emile's story quest, so I haven't even touched Natlan yet. All I hope is that if the "one entombed in primal fire" isn't the Pyro dragon that they are at least the previous Pyro Archon like you said (also maybe the Lava Walker?) I hope that in, maybe next year, around the time that Arlecchino's released this year, Damselette/Colombina is seen in Natlan, and we get a story with her and the Pyro Dragon. (Or a dragon, like Durin) I want this as a fairytale twist as "normally" it's expected to save the damsel from the dragon. What if we must save the dragon from the damsel? (Maybe she tries to trick the locals of the nation into believing that the "monster" attacked her.)

I love how you and *Ashikai differ in the sources of your theories but arrive at the same conclusion. It is so fascinating. While you base your ideas solely on the information presented in the game, with a bit of extra context from outside the game, *Ashikai searches for connections and parallels to the real-life history of gods and some people. The fact that theorists can gather information from different sources and still speculate on the same ideas makes me realize how much the Genshin developers love their work. The effort they put in cannot be described on a surface level.

*Ashikai, not Ishikai. That's why I personally think Ashikai's theories are worse, because instead of building logical theories based on information from the game, she tries to guess something from information outside the game and VERY often makes mistakes because of this. Like, for example, her theories of Project Teyvat, or theories about Arlecchino, or theories about Deshret and Sinner, and so on and so on.

And you see, thinking back to what she said about her theory in Natlan, it is, but not literally, the same as MurderofBirds came up. They really just have their own way to form a theory, no one is better or worse. And thank you for correcting my mistake.

Finished watching this now, what a ride! I have some things to say, if you don't mind, Arnold! I really admire your dedication and intelligence when it comes to organize your thoughts and share them to the world. I know this is not a good thing to do, and I don’t intend to do any harm, but I can’t help but compare you (in my head) to the majority of the big content creators in the Genshin community. People can do whatever they want and play however they want, obviously, but the difference of approach is insane. You dedicate your life to this game and to provide quality content for us, analyzing, discussing, theorizing and reading every bit of lore in game, while lots of CC’s only care about swiping their credit card and yap about superficial aspects of the game. You should get the same amount of recognition like them, if not more. (again, no hate to anyone, I’m just sharing my thoughts). As a big Columbina fan I apologize in the name of our community, it embarasses me how far some of the hardcore fans go to force their opinion on you and treat misinformation as facts smh lol Capitano and Columbina are both awesome and I hope we can see interactions between them! And last but not least, PLEASE DO THE SAME THING FOR SNEZHNAYA! This is my most antecipated region in the game, and at the same time we have lots of information all across the game, I feel like we don’t have much information at all! So having you as the Almighty Lore Collector to help us (me) to gather all there is about Snezhnaya and understand all of it before it comes out would be literally a transcendental experience (Hi Rene lmao). Sorry for the big paragraph, I could say more, but I feel thats enough hahaha you’re amazing Arnold, keep it up with the great work and don’t forget to rest! I actually was able to predict Natlan conection to dragons. I have been brainstorming about Natlan since the end of Inazuma/early Sumeru. I started theorizing that Natlan civilization would be heavily connected either to dragons or seelies (I stuck with dragons), the main reason (aside from me wanting Natlan to be very relevant lorewise) That I thought about this, because it was always very weird how little information we had from that region, to the point we knew more about Fontaine in Inazuma, than Natlan in Fontaine. So it could only make sense if it had an important lore reason to gatekeep so much information. When I read the Talking Stick lore when 4.x released, I got chills when it mentioned "land of dragons" and became very happy and excited, + my already big ego got more inflated.★

that's really cool. you were correct with seelies too ahah or rather, seelie-like creatures like the wayob and monetoo. plus the murals and lore about the envoys. seelies just like oceanids and the melusines are pretty draconic themselves so i feel like they're bound to go hand in hand.

@@jairjunior3951 i think it's likely!!! tsaritsa gives pale princess vibes and there's the boar princess and the wolf pup in the icy mountain. even childe and foul legacy, though he got it in the abyss, he's gonna play a role in snezhnaya so who knows. seelies are everywhere but hyperborea being the first cycle probably means primordial times of connection between seelies and humans. it will be nice to know more about them!! i'm honestly hoping for wolf lore, i think andrius might be connected to hyperborea :) i have a belief seelies are connected to khaenri'ah too but let's see ahah

I feel a need to declare that, at this point, Arnold hasn't done act 2 for Natlan yet, so I hope no one tries to spoil it ... including stuff about a Certain Guy. That aside, I love playing as the Saurians, only time I'm not one is whenever I need to do some "actual" combat. And I prefer the Yumkasaurs the most, they Only Do Everything, except swimming ... you can even fight the Gluttonous Yumkasaur King just as one, no other characters needed.

Okay I've watched most of it, but had to say this at the end about Capitano being a dragon. I don't think we can ignore the Sumeru world quest regarding the circled names in the book. It may have been meta commentary, but the idea of hiding things in plain sight and being misdirection is so glaring. You had an image of Capitano, followed by an image of Durin. Is Durin actually going to be resurrected, as bluntly stated, or is it a misdirect, and they're hiding it in plain sight? Is Capitano a reincarnation of Durin? Crack theory, I don't believe it since it could also be a parallel for Nibelung being resurrected, but you had those two images back-to-back after calling him a dragon and I couldn't get it out of my head.
