Omg. Yes. There are soooooo many common vegetables, fruits and flowers that don't exist in game, and I don't see how or why we don't have them. Like for example, how does one fail to add pumpkins as a garden havestable in the either the Spooky Stuff, Vampires, Seasons OR Magic packs... four chances where it would have made SO much sense.

Your pc just turning off like that and the fact you’ve had blackouts before makes me think the issue is with your power supply.. now mine is old yet mine has never done that (it does have a quirk where if my pc has been off power due to like maintenance of the power grid or another hiccup in our breaker box last time it completely cucked it’self so yeah that’s fun.. but my pc just tends to turn on for a second after being back on power again then turning off after that one second before then in like 2 seconds booting up like normal.. it’s not supposed to happen and a defenite sign of it being old and knackered.. ) it’s defenitely worth looking into because if it does it more frequently it could damage your hardware and software i’ve had my windows corrupt on my old pc due to too many bluescreens (my old pc was almost completely failing at that point my video card was the worst and then a while later my motherboard was like i’m out laters.. so i’d reccomend you to get someone to take a look at your pc especially your power supply maybe replace it.. luckily a power supply isn’t that expensive..

Seconded, I fix computers at work and this is a typical power supply problem from a computer that is regularly exposed to big power fluctuations. To add to this, if you live in an area where the power goes out regularly and you have an expensive computer that you use as your primary work tool, it might be worth it to invest in a kind of battery bank that can keep a PC powered when the power in your house goes out. It's called a standby UPS.

It can also be a heat issue like someone else mentioned. I had this problem before I started limiting my frame rates and fixed some cooling settings with my gpu. I had already replaced my power supply when the issue started, which is how I narrowed the issue down to overheating. Kayla should try looking at her temps while running to see where it's hitting.

Hey simsie!! On the note of the computer randomly turning off: I had the same issue, it happened once a month before it started happening more frequent. My issue was my graphics card was over heating and needed re-pasting. You're a gamer nerd like me. so i'm going to assume you know all about the thermal paste that goes into cpu's and gpu's to keep them cool :P I'd check that if i were you! constant overheating can ruin your hardware. --- forgot to add: if you run software to check on the temps of your CPU and GPU and they're fine... It's probably your power supply :) Happy simming!

@@Sidzee256 There could be something wrong with the airflow in your pc. Depending on where you have it (for instance on a carpeted floor or just the floor in general) the fan could have a buildup of dust. My school has a room of computers where the towers are on the floor, they have to be blown out more frequently than other computers. You should type in a list of symptoms your computer has in google, you could probably find more info. Unless you have experience working with computers I would recommend taking it to a professional. It's real easy to break a fan. You could also switch to water cooling a lot of people prefer that over heat sinks.

@@Sidzee256 hey yeah I'm doing a bachelor in IT so I know a thing or two 😁 I took my graphics card apart, and the thermal paste had dried. So I cleaned it up and replaced it (KZbin has many great tutorials for this). Unfortunately even with the new paste, I believe that the constant overheating may have effected the hardware since I'm having quite decent frame rate drops and the idle temp for the card is higher than before, but it's no longer 'overheating' and my computer isn't crashing. If you have an older card, and this is happening, there's a big chance you may need to upgrade. But if you don't want to spend that sort of money, checking that the thermal paste in the CPU and GPU is all good and replacing it is the way to go!!

I use this build for my sim (He lives alone and had the money to move to a bigger "single" house). I have modified it a little bit, but I loved the idea of the tower and the (only "teleport accessable") atic. Thanks for the build!

In my head I imagine that the original starter home is what the witch couple bought when they first moved in together bc it was cheap and that's why it was so bad. (Bc you know, ea builds lol) And instead of moving into a better home as they got older and got more money they renovated their home bc of sentimental value. Which is why it's so fancy and customized to their wants and needs. Like, I have this whole montage in my head. It could be it's own Hallmark movie. Lol.

I'm shit at building but I love this one, I added a staircase to the top floor and changed the open floor a bit for it. I also wanted a spellcaster dungeon so I made a little greenhouse with some steps going down into a laundry room/storage where there is a secret bookcase door leading into the lair.
