When I first started playing the sims, I didn't know there were cheats. So in order to get money I moved my sims in with the Landgraabs in edit town. Then during gameplay I, moved them out into a small house with no furniture, and I kept all their money and their mansion😂😂

My theory for the Landgraab family is that Geoffrey doesn't know that she is a criminal. I bet Nancy is telling him she has a good job, which can be true, cause they own everything. The landgraab power company, landgraab school etc. I don't see Geoffrey caring about owning everything since his personality traits don't really make him seem like the guy that does. I bet Nancy is behind wanting to own everything so she can make it seem like she's earning a lot of money towards Geoffrey. Meanwhile she's married to him. I do think there's some love between them but for the most part I think Nancy is using him for information about his job. She can literally know every operation, every protocol from the FBI because of him. That's why she stays out of trouble and can make a lot of money from the criminal career. I bet Malcom knows about his mom being in the criminal career and she's preparing him to take her place when she's too old to continue, or something else happens. Johnny maybe had an idea what Nancy was doing and tried to convince his dad that Nancy was a criminal. I think that's why they both disowned him. I don't see Geoffrey to be the type of guy to just disown his son for following his dreams. I think Nancy probably manipulated Geoffrey by playing the victim because Johnny was accusing her of something terrible. And Geoffrey who is, of course in love, believed her. Johnny decided from that day own he didn't want to do anything with the family anymore and followed his own path. Well that's the story I made for the Landgraab family. I'm now playing as Johnny trying to make it as an entertainer to prove to his family he can make it without them. I'm trying to make him the richest person in the sims 4 instead if the Landgraab family. Now that would be a good revenge am I right? I really recommend playing as Johnny trying to make it as an entertainer because it's a really fun challenge to make him richer than his own parents. You also get really into the storyline which is really fun. Sorry for my bad English in advance, I'm Dutch haha.

Something that helped me figure out how to fill a space was a video by Polygon about how to decorate in Animal Crossing! They teach basic decorating concepts that you can totally apply to the sims as well

How about this build challenge: Make a house that fits one of every item! You don't need to add every bed that exists in the game but you do need to add 1 at least. At the same time, you need to place every unique gameplay object (Cupcake Machine, Telescope etc.) I think it's easiest to limit yourself to just the base game for that. I'd be very excited to see what that would look like.

Bathrooms are everything!!!!! *Shakes fist.* Especially when you share one with two or more people and someone likes to take their ever loving time to get ready. Also, I noted this to a James Turner video, but deserts may be hot and dry during the day, but they can get freaking cold at night. So, yeah... fireplaces in the desert? Not that strange. My thoughts on the random money bags in the upstairs hallway: I'm also a firm believer that Nancy and Geoffrey are working together to keep up appearances and own Everything, but Malcolm found out about it one day. So in exchange for his silence, they keep those bags sitting on the top floor under that table. Every so often they'll disappear, then return empty, at which point they get filled and left out again. No one ever talks about it, it just keeps happening, and the family goes on living their "happy" and "normal" lives.

I have plans to renovate every home in the Sims 4 (using Michael and Janet from the Good Place as my ‘architects’)! I don’t have all the packs yet but eventually (I hope)! British post-war architecture looks great. Especially those council estates and government offices that were built around 60s and 70s. Trellic Tower, Horatia House and Ministry of Justice are good examples from that era of brutalist architecture.

I personally feel like the weird length of the Landgraab mansions is iconic. Do not mess with that. However I do agree that compared to buildings possible since Get Famous this looks rather shabby. Love how it turned out though, the fountains really help with that mansion vibe and I like that you added a poolhouse.

And four years after this video came out - one of my storylines suddenly involved the Laandgraabs, so I popped into their mansion to see if I needed to add anything and had a moment of overwhelm trying to figure out what was going on in that build...then I thought, surely Simsie rebuilt this some time! Yay i renovate this mansion too and have my sims moved in. A young couple with twins😍 the big room on the left really suitable for twins. And the master bedroom is so large i can build a walk in closet. It turns out pretty good tho:)
