Wow! Yishai, I have more respect for you now after this interview. This was very enlightening as it gave a history of who you are and what you stand for. All the other wars weren't a continuation of a ceasefire. Arabs started 4 wars and lost them all and with that, they lost land that originally belonged to Israel. As for Judea and Samaria that's Israel. Those are places I read about in the Bible. None of it belongs to Arabs or a made-up ethnicity called Palestine. I do not believe Israel should give one inch of land to Arabs. There's proof they were not living in the land when the Jews returned. This isn't about land it's about Arabs being territorial and prideful. There are 22 Arab countries and ONE JEWISH STATE! Get out! Every Arab needs to get out bc they refuse to give up their victim ideology and blow themselves up to kill Jews. They refuse to live in peace. Gaza was a horrible mistake. I watched the video of 2005 when Jews were forced to leave their homes. It was heart wrenching to see. The IDF hates forcing them out. And what did the Arabs do the moment it was cleared? The destroyed the synagogue, the green houses, the floral business and anything else the Jews left. They could have kept the floral business as revenue for Gaza but they destroyed it to get aid from taxpayers of America and other countries. It seems like he would acquiesce to a two state solution in theory, IF the Palestinians would relinquish claims to the land. However, even if Palestines would acquiesce to a two state solution, they would never relinquish claims. And neither would the interviewer himself, he says "it's the right thing to do to share the land," but it's not because it's not Jewish land. It's the right thing to do strategically because he "believe[s his] position has a better chance of convincing other people of Israel's right to exist" So in practice he'll never have to acquiesce, because before a two state solution becomes viable in his eyes, it won't be viable to abandon the West Bank settlements. Though probably he doesn't think it is possible.

The land of Israel was the land GoD brought His Jewish children to via Moses- 3500 YEARS AGO. The land boundaries delineated by GoD in Numbers 34:1-10. The land was settled, built up, and ruled by Jewish Kings. There has always been Jews living in the land even from "invading" Cultures! Ancient artifacts & archeologist finds (including communities) and the Dead Sea Scrolls ALL PROVE the Jewish indigenous people. And GoD has promised the everlasting Land Covenant to Abraham's SON Isaac (and his descendants), (Genesis), and later GoD made that same Covenant directly to Isaac, and then directly to Jacob! The State of Israel was not formed in 1948. It was formed and assigned by GoD 3500 years ago.
