Glad you enjoyed the food but the only authentic Mexican food you made was the guacamole and tacos. The rest is bad white washed Mexican food. If they don’t pronounce the ingredients correctly it’s not authentic. I hope you remake this video with actual authentic Mexican food.

Im mexican and never in my life have seen a corn salad 😅 i wonder if its from other states, bc fun fact, the way we cook can vary a lot from state to state! Even if it’s supposed to be the same thing. You should try chilaquiles, pozole and our different type of tacos.. haha carnitas, barbacoa, tacos de canasta, we have a lot!

All of the recipes look so good. We live near LA area and in our neighborhood we have someone come around with a push cart selling a corn street food dish called esquite. It has corn, butter, mayonnaise, cheese and optional dusting of chile powder. It's so good.

Esquites are amazing! I love them :) you can also found them by “elote en vaso” (corn in a cup), thats what they call it in the northern states of Mexico, usually with sour cream instead of mayonnaise. Also they usually have chili powder “del que no pica” (not spicy) and regular :)

1. The guacamole looked good. 2. Never had/seen any corn salad like that. Pretty sure that was made up, but it looked good, tho. 3. We never put butter like that on our street corn. The easy way is just mayo, cheese, salt and lime juice. 4. You'll hardly ever find chicken street tacos. The common thing is pork. And we never season the meat with cilantro or chopped onions. You could blend garlic with the spices and some hydrated dried chiles as well as the juice.

i have an idea for this series. what about southern food from the u.s.? there’s an extensive amount of dishes and things to try. i think you guys would really like it! some examples of dishes are fried chicken, shrimp and grits, pimento cheese, and sweet potato pie. like i said, there’s dozens of dishes to choose from. it won’t be healthy at all but it will be so delicious!

Tina, I love your videos and I’ve been watching them for so so so long! Forever! But I have to say as a Mexican that lady was lying to you! The real base of guacamole is smashed avocado, and salt. That’s it, everything else is just preference. And what she made was a guacamole pico de gallo. But I understand, it was viral and so what are you gonna do right? Honestly, my preference is smashed of avocado, salt, garlic, a bit of onion and lemon or lime. I personally always leave out the tomato because it just makes it watery and I don’t know. But again it’s all personal preference. And I love making guacamole salsas. Anyways, thank you for always making such fun videos!
