I’m from Australia and I visited Auckland New Zealand a few years ago now and it is absolutely lovely and the animals coats are just so warm and fluffy - I did buy myself some gloves that were made from possum fur, so soft and warm. I wish we had a shop with Aussie/Kiwi yarn. I found some when we were visiting the Outer Banks last summer. Lovely yarn! I also did a day of yarn shops on an yarn crawl. it was at least 7 stops and I barely made it. Not much time to look but I learned where they all were. Lol!

Great video, loved seeing all the beautiful yarn. Our yarn crawl here in NYC, is in September. Sad to say our favorite yarn store Purl Soho hasn't reopened yet. My friend is getting me yarn from their website. I'm a knitter, I tried learning left handed crochet on here, was a mess. I'll stick with my knitting for now. I saw one of the stores had Noro yarn from Japan. I knitted a cowl with Noro Ito once, all hand dyed and beautiful. Not sure I want to knit with Possum though. Right now I'm knitting a Purl Soho pattern with their new organic cotton from Japan called Handwritten. It works with to different colors knitted together on size 4 24 inch circular needles. Not a good idea working with yarn overs, and you drop stitches. Wound up having to undo, will start again tomorrow. Was really nice they let you video in the store. Was there any raffles at stores, we have them here during yarn crawl. One time I won a skein of yarn and drawstring canvas bag.

As a kiwi it is cool to see a US yarn store with lots of wool from down under. Yarn with Possum in is lovely to knit with and the Possums are an introduced pest here.
