There is a lot of glare on the makeup palette's. Some of the facial close ups also look a little washed out. It will probably take some time to work that all out.

I love that tinted primer. I have oily skin and I love wearing underwear all of my foundations! I even like to wear it by itself because I wear primers during the week instead of foundations because of having to wear masks. I didn't purchase that foundation because another KZbin felt that it showed texture on textured skin as well. I do love the Essence mascaras. I have one eyeshadow pallette that I like from them as well. I like their liquid eyeliner too! Sheglam also has a blush like the one from Essence that you showed. I love it! Thanks for the video!

The Paris eye palette has been one of my favorites for a couple of years. I like it more than my high end palettes! Try the pink shimmer shadow damp. Stays much better ❤️

Great review Zabrena :) The products from the Essence cosmetics are good quality , affordable gems from the drugstore ♥ I've been using the Lash Princess Sculpted Volume mascara, very nice mascara gives my lashes length and volume. The Volume Booster (lash primer) is perfect, another beloved favorite. The Make me Brow eyebrow gel is good too.

I was so pleased when I saw you were going to reviews Essence products. I started by buying Essence mascara as my mascara was out of stock. I really love their mascara in the purple tube. From there I tried more. I use the Tinted Primer but I apply a lot less than you did…then I do more on a second coat. My skin is quite different than yours, it’s older and dry but I really like the primer. I also purchased the Paris eye shadow palette and it’s also really nice. I have never bought the blush yet but now I will. It’s really nice to find a line that is nice and at good prices. Thanks again for the great video. Take care and stay safe.

Salut Paris is one of the 1st of 3 palettes I have from Essence, Bonjour Montreal is another great one....I use them a lot! The concealer is also amazing, have went through 2 tubes of it 🙂 I will have to try that brow pencil! Thank you for another great tutorial🌟 Happy 2022 to y'all 🎉

HI ZABRENA, A TIP TO KEEP YOUR BLUSH FROM FADING IS TO SPRAY YOUR BLUSH BRUSH WITH SETTING SPRAY THAN DIP THE BRUSH INTO YOUR BLUSH AND THAN APPLY YOUR BLUSH TO YOUR FACE. I DO THIS EVERY DAY AT 5 A.M. FOR WORK AND 9 HOURS LATER IT IS STILL ON.

Best way that I've found to use the tinted primer by itself is to spray the wet n wild primer spray. That extra bit of moisture helps.

This is such a pretty look . I couldn’t use that stuff, I’ve got dryer skin… I get texture so easy. I only use a scrub a few times a week , and a mild , softening cleansing product. You have beautiful skin.

Tinted primer is a primer. Meant to be used under foundation. Works so good when pressed into the skin and when not using too much. I used it under the essence pretty natural foundation. That was a primer you were piling on your face.

While I ALWAYS use tinted sunblock on my whole face, sometimes I apply it as a heavier concealer on my rosacea patches. Sometimes I wet my fingers with a little generic rosewater, or just plain water from the tap, to apply foundation/BB cream or to spread liquid or creamy concealers. I know my facial skin can be quite moody; maybe Zabrena's is too.

Wow. I can see the texture of your skin so well with that lens! I like the Salut, Paris shadow. Very pigmented. I noticed the Essence smaller compact shadows have a vanilla scent. It's nice. I don't know why I didn't realize right away that the vanilla scent was coming from that product. The lip look was freaky crazy. Loved those together.

I like the Essence princess mascara in the green on black tube. What I really like is the lipsticks, I have #8 Strong (dark purple w/ brown tones), #7 Enough (currant brown) and #13 Brave which is a dark nude semi-matte. They do wear off easily but are very moisturizing and don't have any of those icky smells like other lipsticks do (I'm looking at you L'Oreal & Rimmel).

The concealer is my current fave. I'm nearly 52, and struggled to find one that lasts all day, and even with oily skin I don't need to set it with powder, which is a real bonus!

I have the primer and used it the first time just like you did. Same results at the end of the day. I've since used it more sparingly, a MUCH smaller amount and that definitely helps reduce my face from getting oily. With that said the sister foundation to this primer is an ABSOLUTE FAVORITE of mine. I definite repurchase when I'm done with my current tube. HIGHLY RECOMMEND ❣️❣️ Now that concealer 🤔 has me intrigued, it's now on my list for when I'm done with my current concealers. Thanks Zabrena 😊

The essence primer, for me, applies best when using a pea size amount, and spreading with the fingers first then bounce it out with your blender.

@@pwallace5359 I actually wear it alone. It’s hard to find a matte tint for my oily skin. And I’ve liked using this for that. I do like tints and lighter coverage though. I have worn a powder foundation over it as well. I like it a lot alone though. But doesn’t provide a lot of coverage.

Hi Z! I always watch your videos 💗 I own the eyebrow pencil in the shade "Brown" and it's amazing, it last like 24 hours on me! However, that shade oxidizes to a Black-ish color, that's the only complain I have. What I do is that I line my brows and then fill them with powder. I’ve honestly never tried an eyeliner pen prior (I’ve always used black eyeshadow), but this one wears nicely on me, is easy to apply (it has a felt tip), is very precise, & is super affordable at Ulta. I also love their eyeshadow formula. I just wish that we didn’t have to wait so long to get the palette releases they have in Europe! 😬Oh, & I finally tried the Lash Princess False Lash Effect mascara (the green on black tube), & it’s really nice! 😊👍

I love the blush lighters, I tried the peach shade and then bought the other colors. My dry skin didn't really enjoy that tinted primer but the Pretty Nautral Foundation has become a favorite. I'll have to try the concealer and brow pen the next time I order.

Love the brow pen. The Essence tinted prime work great with another lightweight primer under it. Have several of the eyeshadows. Essence and Catrice are sister companies.

The Essence mascaras and lip glosses are wonderful. I prefer the Lash Princess Mascara. I haven’t used the tinted moisturizer and I can tell it would be way to dry for me. I have been buying Essence products for about 3 years now and I am very happy with the way they perform and how easy they are on my budget.

The Blushlighter in Cassis is one of my favorite blushes! It reminds me of my all time favorite, the Beauty Bakerie cotton Candy champagne palette. Going to pick up that eyebrow pencil, that one reminds me of my old fave Laura Geller brow marker, but far less expensive. Thanks!

Great Video! I do agree Essence can be a hit or miss but when it hits like that Brow Pen, Blush & Concealer, it feels so good due to the price point especially!! Also, your new Setup is awesome, especially with the Zoom feature! I chime in with loving your videos! Where is Essence sold? (Amazon?) I, too, have had stinging when eyeshadow fallout falls in! I started putting on a light application of mascara before any shadow, but after eyelid primer, and then full mascara after eyeshadow...it works like a shield...works great for me....you've said you welcome "tips " from people...so that's one from me. I've really enjoyed some of the products I've got from Essence. Love the other eyebrow product. Their eyeliner is the only eyeliner to stay in my watery eyes. Bye Bye Panda 🐼 Eyes is the best mascara I've ever used!!! Those 6 pan eyeshadows the 3 I have I like and use. The tinted primer is just the right amount of coverage as alot of foundations just look to heavy on me. The pink container lip balm/oil (?) works fantastic on me, alot of others even when not on make my lipsticks 💄 bleed!!! Super weird. I started with the nail polish and slowly been trying products. Very impressed and have been telling people that they compete with much more expensive brands. The amount of eyeliners I've bought at MUCH higher prices have never stayed these ones do and I'm thankful for that!!! Thanks for a great vid. Take care and have fun!!! 😷😎😷

Have you tried essence highlight palette It is the most beautiful highlight ever It blends beautifully on the skin and doesn't show texture and is blinding I used it for the first time yesterday and got compliments saying how beautiful and glowy my cheeks looked It's $10aud and worth it all The last shade is too dark for you and I but would make a stunning eye shadow ❣️
