Seems like a great tool for a working professional. Extremely versatile and solves a LOT of problems in challenging environments.

I do hybrid work and the 40w modeling light is why I got the AD600 ProII. So convenient. To be able to have that without needing to run cords etc but also having a high performance flash for stills is so worth it.

Have to admit, glad they made a successor. I don't shoot Godox (really bad experience once with them), but glad they are upping their quality compared to over a decade ago. Competition is always good for the consumer.

Using lighting is great and it will give that pop in the photos and 3d look

I’m not a professional, don’t use lighting, but I enjoyed the video anyway and learned something new! Thank you!

I agree, like with many things buttons are better than touchscreens, because you get some tactile feedback.

Godox should release a new firmware for the old transmitters to take advantage of the new features of those lights. Good video as always Omar.

Related topic: what you pack for your portrait shoots and what you use to carry and access everything. Obviously a lot of variables, but I’m struggling figuring out a good system. Camera strap vs wrist, messenger bag vs backpack, etc. How do you transport your stuff and work efficiently?
@ogonzilla3 ай бұрын
Smallest kit is a messenger bag and a reflector. Larger, I use a cart: kzbin.info/www/bejne/rGG6koJsrpKmb6Msi=AMgZVN32ahIqeAgk

40w is pretty good Can you make a comparison between ad600proii and a common 60w video light?

Thanks for the content. I’m looking into the ad200 pro ii for both video and photo. Any chance for a quick review on the video light performance of the ad200 pro ii?

Great review Omar! What about TTL, how it works here?
@ogonzilla3 ай бұрын
Really well...I shot 5fps TTL test but didn't include it. Tiny shifts in exposure but very good.

Can you set your camera shutter based off the light freeze mode shutter?
@ogonzilla3 ай бұрын
Shutter doesn't actually matter when freezing with flash. You shoot below your sync speed 1/200th. Check out some videos on it....very cool technique.

So at 20fps that was an epilepsy canon!!!
@isoawe18883 ай бұрын
But, does it use same battery? My ad600 and ad600pro do NOT. Where does this fit in? Carrying multiple batteries/chargers is enough of PIA for me to look elsewhere
@ogonzilla3 ай бұрын
uses the same battery as the old pro. Not the old 600. You must shoot for hours! lol...I usually have a backup flash, not an extra battery.

Yup... Profoto is terrible, and yet very successful, which proves that marketing and affiliates are more important than simple logic and usability.
