Something similar happened to me yesterday at Belligio. Earlier I had lost an $1,100 pot with AAs vs kings when a K hits the flop. So when this hand comes up an hour or so later I have to take pause. It was a limped hand with me being the last to call. I’m holding j8 unsuited and the flop comes j,8,3. Bet out for $15 and get called. Turn is another 8 giving me a full house. I bet $35 and get called again. The river is another 3. He checks and just trying to get paid I bet $65. He then raises to $220. Now I’m lost. I only lose to pocket Js but he didn’t raise the pre flop nor raise on the flop and river. So does he have your hand, pocket 3s. Normally this would be a fairly easy call but after losing the AAvsKK hand I had to pause because I’d built my stack back up to the plus side. Finally i figured I have to call and he turns over j8 for the chop. I forgot to mention he had earlier won a big pot when he flopped quads with pocket 8s.

Wow, with the pocket Kings, how in the heck do you fold to the $475 bet on the River, where this guy just lost a big hand to you, after you went over the top of him donk betting? Did you really put him on a 6, or 3 there? He obviously put you on 2 big cards, that completely missed that board. Looks like he had a naked Ace (Ace-2 or Ace-3, that he thought would be best, or a chop. Almost 2 to 1 on the call, with the over pair…you gotta call Ben.

Pulp fiction is a decent movie, not anywhere close to Shawshank and definitely not even worthy to shine Forrest Gumps feet, although the director of Pulp probably would like to do that. Winning a 4k pot and managing to book a loss is award worthy tho.

Says he never had a losing year! I believe him. I watch Lex O Poker. Like his videos BUT he’s going broke slowly. Drinks alcohol when he plays, goes on tilt , plays crap out of position!! Very few vloggers win. Ben , I believe is one. LEX O POKER IS NOT. Shame because parts of his game is noteworthy. But he’ll be broke as he’s an alcoholic and has little or no regard for position.
