I was a welder/fabricator for many years before becoming a toolmaker then mechanical engineer where I worked in automotive manufacturing engineering. I designed the machines and processes that make engine and transmission parts. This guy is on a whole other level the way he makes everything by hand with the most basic tools. He's an artist.

Been drag racing and building high hp engines all my life 37 years to be exact. But to see someone construct a head from scrap metal. All the while think how is he going to build the cam. When you welded one out of 2 beads on a bolt and it worked i lost it. Great video any race team could use a guy like you with quick unique thinking on the fly.

The apparent ease with which he made the OHC and valve rockers was engineering poetry in motion. I was just a little bit dubious about the looseness of the valve stems, and the apparent compression ratio , about 100:1 ?! - but hey what a job. You're a genius , my friend.
@balkrushnakadam7082

Yes, i thought same thing, he left vary less space above top dead centre of piston to compress air, which makes difficult for piston to compress air at that large ratio, resulting leakage of air through valves.

perhaps because the compressor isn't designed for heat and will probably be internally melted within hours. Not to mention that normal compressor usage keeps the cylinders lubricated. How's he oiling it? Also there's no way to control the air/fuel mixture, which is why it's smoking so bad. It's flooding. Or maybe the jank of that spark plug wire? He's got an open can of gas next to that thing. Or maybe that it requires a battery to stay running? He could have put a condensor on it, making that unnecessary. It's a good idea in theory but it was already shaking apart by the end of the video.
