Probably the most satisfying video I have seen in a very long time. I second the person who thanked you for not putting music to this. Let the sounds of your work stand on their own. This is a great concept but I understand not wanting to put a lot of them together to sell. Metal work can be time consuming for small lot projects. The resulting items can be expensive because of the hours invested. Overall, this is a great design and very cool item!

Very nice. Great video, and a great project. Stuff like this is what I got into machining for. A lot of time was spent on this. Ask your local machine shop to make one, and it will cost a small fortune.

Started out as operator, up to a 5-axis NC, but then CNC came out. Should have been a toolmaker and really learned the craft. The first day of CNC our boss was so proud. He put a big aluminum blank in the Miller to make a transmission case, and all the operators stood there, as ticker tape spit out the tool moves. But the whirring mill hiccuped, paused, then plowed sideways thru the wall of the aluminum case, then down and buried itself red-hot into the mill bed, as the mill motor exploded in smoke. : )
