Everyone gets burned out from time to time. you start out just wanting to share what you love doing. then before long its now a chore to keep your viewers happy. which steals the Joy out of what your doing. take a break for a while. True fans will understand, support you, and be here when you come back! Lots of love

I agree coming from another crafter/creator(i paint, do jewelry, clay work[polymer and reg pottery], perler bead, metal stamping); doing the creations/crafts that you like to do can sometimes feel redundant, or like to much work, or takes to much time, or gets in the way. But thats when you need to step away and do something else for while. Like i like playing some video games or card/board games with my brother/family and/or friends, or getting out and doing personal shopping, or reading books(not related to crafting). I love watching your videos; so informative and cool also relaxing(don’t take this the wrong way but sometimes i listen to your channel to help me sleep[insomnia]). Anyway take care of yourself and know that at least 1 person will be here waiting when you come back after you take whatever and whenever breaks you need.

I keep going back and watching this over and over. I've watched your videos for a few years now and seeing you turn one of my blanks is something I thought I'd never see. I want to thank you again Ken. Hope to see you back in the turning mood and hope to see more videos and projects soon.

I really like the brick pattern. If one was able to do it very thin it would make a cool lampshade. Understand the lack of motivation. When encountering the same I dumb things down to a small simple project you can complete quickly. For me it always renewed a desire to do stuff as I was reminded not everything needs to be convoluted or complicated. Simple things that need to get done somehow bring back the spark. Love to you and the Mrs !

Loosing your mojo is not unheard of in any kind of art form. You're very talented & i hope you stick with it. Sometimes just doing your own thing & not commissions is helpful. Take the holidays off to do what you want to do & then come back to it. Love your work & love watching you turn things out

Ken sorry to hear about your motivation. I was like that through most of last year time frame and i guess the first half of this year. I apologize about the 3D rings, i thought i told you about them. I have to go back and look but i believe i used art works resin or liquid diamonds from the craft attack. The bowl looks gorgeous btw, of and the white, glows in the dark 😮

A Rikon 12" is great. I have one for myself also. My favorite would be the Grizzly 0462.
@alward41711 ай бұрын
Ken is right about the Rikon. Another option is Pen State Industries. It is a 120 V system, variable speed. Mine is on the back of my truck as I travel a lot for work. Research your needs, then decide. When I bought mine, it did not have reverse. My Grizzly does, and at times I did miss that feature. And you will be hooked. Sorry for lack of clarity, I'm tired.

It turned out well, even if you had to force the love. Sometimes we lose the desire and drive to create when something is blocking it. Maybe - - ok, I’m going to insert myself where I haven’t the right to - - is there any chance there’s an underlying medical condition, side effect from meds, or just sadness/anxiety? Consider a physical and a chat with a professional. If everything is ok, time and just slowly working your way back into it? I wish you the best in finding your muse again… 😊
