I turned a CLOSET into a Bathroom! (Before & After are Shocking!)

God works in mysterious ways. Newly divorced, single mom to a special needs child, I wanted to convert part of our laundry room into a bathroom, allowing us to have the ability to rent out that space, attached to our already enclosed garage. I couldn’t believe this video popped up….VANITY, option B, and YES, love these kinds of videos, hope that covered everything!💕

Absolutely stunning..love it. I like option B. I wish I could do something like this in my bathroom. My bathroom is just a little bit bigger than a hall closet..lol. The whole thing needs to be torn down to bare walls and studs. I'm going to take some of your ideas and see if it will work for this tiny bathroom. Thank you for all your ideas and tips ❤️

Vanity. Beautiful. The color is gorgeous. I'm not a fan of mixing metals. That's a no for me and I'm currently swapping my metal hardware in my bathroom and all switch plate covers, doorknobs throughout my home from gold to matte black to give it an upgraded, more modern look. That's just my POV. Definitely "B". The first one belongs in a kitchen 😁

I paint beadboard outside with a sprayer before installing. Then, all you need to do is fill holes, caulk, and touch-up the paint.

•Love the light and muted colors. •Not too thrilled about mixing metals that are far apart on the color spectrum, though. •Option B (cutting) board, by all means. Save the other, traditional board for a farmhouse bathroom (although I don't like it in any bathroom; it just says "kitchen" too much, unless you maybe paint it with oil paint/marine paint.) My 2¢'s worth.😊

I have those same marble planks in my craft room!😁❤️ I put up bead board up in my craft room as my accent wall, you are right Liz, it takes a lot of painting! LOL!!! Five years ago I turned two closets into two bathrooms and very soon town inspectors were in the house. I paid more than $10.000 dollars in fees from the town. Lesson learned.

Thanks for explaining why you do 70%. I LOVE Kelly Moore's Swiss Coffee 100% buuuut I don't like the quality. I went to SW and got a chip of Swiss Coffee - that's my biggest fear a warm white that pulls it's warmth from yellow. So thanks! Vanity! And yes, the rectangle board. The other one was obviously a cutting board and that is more of a kitchen accessory. Beautiful bathroom - thank you for inviting us into your lake home and watching all of these transitions of the spaces. I can't believe you made it work in a closet! Excellent choice on the pocket door instead of a barn door ( I know a barn door would've been easier)

Love the use of closet to create a full bath and the cute accessories, also the rectangle cutting board, genius... not a fan of all the mixed fixtures, nickel/silver (shower door), brass (lights), gold (faucet/shower), black (handles, mirror), I think 2 is good, 4 seems like a lot in a small space... but to each his own... overall very calming... enjoy!
