Loved when you said gardening is never done.. and its a journey. I just came in from my garden... pruning,,weeding, planting. I am 73 and have been in my home for 52 years this year!!!! To keep up a property, especially by myself, I am out there every day. But I love it! Its therapeutic, relaxing, and calming. The birds chirping, water droplets on the plants, the sunshine... yes please. This video was so heartwarming. Watching your family, working and gardening and improving and enjoying the fruits of your labors, is what life is all about . YOur are the perfect example of Bloom where you are Planted.

I absolutely loved this video Madi! I had been saving it for a time when I had no interruption and I could really savour it. There is so much loveliness! Your garden is beautiful. I enjoyed watching it grow, as well as watching your children grow, and your family too! ☺️. I hope you are feeling well. I love what you have been saying recently, that women are multipliers. Kyle made some raised beds, you grew food. You have made a yard a beautiful garden and living space. You are multiplying your family. You have made a home. You are equipping your children. You are sharing your insights and wisdom. You are demonstrating to others the confidence and beauty of being a woman. I get so much peace and value from what you share. Thank you ❤

What an amazing video for someone, like myself, needing to see the details of what a beginner goes through to grow their own food source. I'm also in Zone 9, different state, realizing the need to have my own garden of food now that it's obvious the powers that be are destroying our food supply. Post cancer and born in the baby boomer generation, the work involved seems overwhelming for me. Taking it slow is imperative for me, but I wonder if it's still a possibility. So, it's probably better I start with container gardening, prove myself first, before laying the groundwork for a more serious endeavor. I wonder, while in your learning curve, have you considered electroculture gardening with the copper? CONGRATULATIONS on your soon-to-be new family member! What an honor for a child to be born into your beautiful family training them to be resourceful. Self-reliance certainly has its perks. Much love to you and your family from Texas. THANK YOU for sharing. 🙏❤🙏

I have such massive garden envy right now! I don't have a veggie patch yet but I've been working slowly on my garden for 4 years. Always a work in progress! We have 4 really big trees in our yard that are a struggle to deal with. They put roots into everything and steal all the water but the birds love them so much (and so do I) that I can't bear to do anything about them. You have totally transformed that yard into a wonderful space of peace 😊

It is so nice seeing how the children enjoy helping you out in the garden. I assume these were captured a year ago. I loved when I had a garden at my parents' house that I built and my children helped me work in it. It was so much fun. Has grass grown in the spots where you planted the seeds since this time? Yey Honest diapers! Bug Bingo is one I had wanted to get for my boys from the Imagine Childhood website. They have such fun for educational and outdoor things for kids. I never heard about mixing your own soil before. Sounds good though. It was really nice seeing this video of just how you live your life.
