It's not often I come across a tutorial as clear and concise as this one, or install ai software that doesn't require a huge amount of dependencies that take hours to download, only to find there are problems beyond my expertise to fix. But this was easy to install and worked "out of the box". I turned my 53yo self into my 6yo self, and it freaked the hell out of me. I look forward to showing it to my dear old mum, and freaking her out too :D Once the output sequence of images was ready, I used Topaz Video to interpolate the frames (8fps to 25fps) and stabilise the jitter, then output to H264. Just for the record, I have a GTX 1070, so yes, it works just fine on an older gpu.

Anytime i turn on the face detector, with any alg, and i select any one of my 3 GPUs or 1 CPU, it causes the source frame to freeze and the window itself never can detect a face, and no preview is shown Tried changing source to still image, video file, webcam, etc.... booooo Edit: Few days later.... ended up just using the general dirextX 12 build and didn't use the nvidia based on. I have a 2070ti. I believe the issue it there was just an update, and i took it. So my cuda driver is 12.6. I have a sneaky feeling the newest nvidia build is going to be for like 12.1 or maybe even 11.5 version. So i could downgrade my driver but using the dirX 12 serves my needs.
