That cool technique can be done using OBS Studio as well after you separate both characters and place them onto a green screen background. Nice technique though, extracting the two characters could also be done using Runway's AI Magic tools.

Yes their heads move, and it looks nice at first glance. That's about it. But do not call this animation. There is no rythm to it, no emotion. Not even anything basic like ease in and out, overlaps, anticipation... The only thing that moves it the head and the mouth. Lipsync is ok at best, the eye blinks are weird, the expression on the face stays the same,... This will need to change a lot before it can be called animation.

So...anybody remember when top animation studios layed of a ton of employees. Those employees had to find work let alone find a full team .alot of developers lost their jobs as well . These new software are nothing but tools for those who may not be fortunate to gather the proper tools let alone GB space a computer can handle. But remember in school we weren't allowed to use a calculator Trigonometry. Well AI is definitely a calculator a tool. You still have to market these videos you still have to edit so voice can match you still have to edit the clips together. It's still a lot the individual have to do. After the video is done. He mentioned using Photoshop they have editing professionals out there too. We are coming in age where humans are a 1 person studio . working for a mass company and getting payed off is soon to be history

At the moment- hand done animation based on traditional principles blows this out of the water. While the mocap picked up the basics and some of the facial expressions translated- they all look generic and the lip sync is off.
