i love the rules, the only thing that i feel like lacks is that in heroclix the units abilities changes as they get damaged, maybe the next time you could add a mechanic to give the monsters some extra abilities when they reach low wounds, something like an ability tied to the monster type like a self destruct for the machines improved berseker rage for the animals

Thanks! That is a cool mechanic, but ultimately I wanted to keep things simple. There's nothing stopping you from tweaking the rules though 😁

That's totally fair! I knew that set would be divisive, but I figured I would leave it in for the people who are more into that sort of thing. The best part of this game is its customizability, so you can pick and choose what you want and toss the rest! 😊
