I'm a senior, retired female artist. My art has taken over my entire house. My daughter says it's hoarding. I've been crafting recycled trash to treasure since I was very young. YOU GO GIRL!!! I lost my beloved dog right before the shutdown. It took me into a spiraling depression. After 2 1/2 years & alot of prodding from family and friends, then my doctor, to push me to get an emotional support puppy. She is my constant companion

Today this video showed up and I enjoyed listening to you, Lille. Years ago, we had a formal dining room that was largely unused; we preferred the small dining area off the kitchen. Well, guess what we did? We got rid of the large table and chairs, and we brought in a foosball table. The kids and their friends were thrilled. I'm alone now, in a different stage of life and different state. I would bring all of my craft supplies to the dining room table and I love working here because I can see the living room and kitchen and have a large window to look out of. I finally decided - why not - and turned the dining room into my craft space. Many storage units, a wall shelf unit for papers, printer and supply storage. Then I decided I really didn't need the built in hutch as a hutch; I really didn't even need the items in the hutch. So I got rid of most of that stuff and I use that hutch for supplies, finished projects, more storage, the sewing machine, etc. LOVE it.

Lillie Diane, you made me laugh and cry all at the same time, I don't have a dog, or a rooster, but I feel just the same way about all our cats, past and present, we have three that live with us, Rappy, 17, siblings Tiggy and Schatzie born 15th July 2019, so they will be 2 this year, plus two that visit everyday. I know they want to move in but I think they are waiting until ours give them permission, I've already told them they can move in.! Looking forward to seeing what you do, love Toby's profile, you know Jim and I both swear we see our other cats sometimes out the corner of an eye, we lost two precious cats back in June and July 2019, our beautiful black cats Ruby and Bobby.

@@LilleDiane Yes the two 'lurkers' are a little black cat, Jim called him'Spotless' because we have had two black cats that each had a white spot on their chests, but Spotless is all black, he has been coming to us for nearly two years, he was skinny and starving, and very fearful, now he is fat, sleek, and still slightly nervous. I would like to call him Shaka, after the famous Zulu Warrior chief. The other one is a beautiful huge tabby with big swirly markings, I called him Benji, he is affectionate and loves to be petted. He 'kills' his catnip Dudley Duck every time he visits, and leaves it soggy.

Ok, now I'm crying too. My big black dog Seymore sailed away to the other side as well as my rooster Capt. Jack. I miss them both but I think both of them are still close... Funny how I can still feel Seymore as well as "the girls" (4 cat sisters) when I take walks around the property! Yup, I left Seymore's big nose prints on the front door window for 2 years!! I also kept a wad of his hair that I pulled from his brush and keep it in my sock drawer! Strange maybe but so what!

I am not sure my grief will ever subside from losing my grand daughter, but I am slowly trying to crawl out of my darkness by using my crafts as therapy. I am so sorry you lost your handsome boys, I cried right along with you, but I also laughed right along with you as well in this video & I adore your ideals about the living room. I may use mine 3 times a year if that & honestly I have never considered turning it into another type of space, you now have got my wheels turning in my pea brain 😂 I am subbing you for I am looking forward to your journey as much as my own, hoping with everything in me that we both come out on a brighter side with great memories of those we’ve lost but will always be with us. What a sweet Toby story!!! OMG! Our pets, our friends, our loves. They are sooooo awesome and They are all going to run up to you across the rainbow bridge and ask you "where have you been mommy!!" And btw, we haven't washed the slobber off all the corners of so many of our doorways in the house that our blind pug Nala would bump into and smell through the door with her snack smeared mug. It is still there after 2 years!! None of my family asked me to clean it anymore!😂 They get it.❤

I'm in LOVE! You my dear made my day! I have just been bemoaning my dark and tiny art space and eyeing the "guest room" with its two huge windows and large space - also thinking yoga! I'm going for it! It will be my winter project. So sorry for your loss. I lost my Bella (thumbnail) and my Josie dog both in 2020. That was a year we will never forget. Bella was 16 and was a rescue (your right not sure who rescued who!) I was in a very dark place when my daughter took me to the Humane Society to look at puppies. We left with Bella. Josie died of cancer and they had given her 6 mos. to live and she lived another 2 years. Pets are our angels. So glad I found you - subbed and looking forward to all your videos.

Hi Lille . That was ( almost ) the name of my 1969 campervan I used to have .. You remind me of her. Lillian Lotusflower was her name. My dog, travel companion, navigator ( on roads and in my heart ) , was called Mr Bojangles because he danced for me , that's how he got me ...that's how he got me to buy him in the pet shop . He crossed over about 4 years ago now, If I can work out how to on my computer i'll send you a pic. I love your vid . I have most of my living room set up as a studio so i can paint and play with stuff. I was a single mum and never had a lot of space to devote to selfish things like painting beauty ...( i know God loves beauty ) or playing with watercolours painting flowers ... Rudy was gorgeous and . I know the pain of grief of losing your best friend in a doggie suit . But now I have a little betta fish called Bluebell ( he is stunning blue colours) who thinks he is a dog and behaves like one. Blessings to you, I will love watching any videos you make . I'm just now trying to catch up. 🙏 You are so kind to ask for help making videos. I wish I could help you. What I did is watch people who teach these skills on KZbin. And the main thing is to just jump in and make mistakes. I use Capcut to edit. And Power Director. Both take a little bit of time but it's totally worth learning how to use them. They have tutorials for you to watch, too. Again, thank you for being here with your gorgeous presence! 😍❤️😍

Yay! You will love it! I don't watch TV either. I'd look for tables that are high enough so you don't have to bend over to work as much, keep interesting armoires, buffets, bookshelves you can turn into storage, set up in the middle of the space and leave the edges of the room for storage. Your dog sounds like mine she belonged to the neighbor up 3 houses but once I moved here after an abusive relationship and recovering addict she never went back she has been here ever since he said she choose who she wanted to live with . I also have ptsd as does my dog we have chickens ducks and a turtle sand box turned pond full of tad poles lol

My adult child and I live together. One spare bedroom was our shared crafting space until my daughter started to complain that she didn't have enough space. After a lot of deliberation, we moved her easel and other art supplies into the living room. More space, more light, VOILA! Of course, since we moved he in there about a year ago, see hasn't used the space at all. Oh, well, go figure!
