I took my back seat out and left my front seat. I just lay it down and built the bed over it. It’s removable so can still carry a passenger if needed 😊👍🏽🇦🇺

I've done the same exact thing but I used PVC pipes instead of wood for the frame. The ratcheting cutter made it super easy, and it was dirt cheap.

@@crissgen i am 5'10" and can lay end to end with a pillow and be comfortable. I think 6'2" would be a tight fit but just as tight as a bed setup. If i went a little lower down i could get some more space but i have the glove box in the way. I have mine high enough up for some storage space underneath, if i went lower i probably wouldn't be able to fit much of anything under it.

I agree I’ve only had two issues first issue is you don’t have much room for your other gear. I can leave it in the bed but then I have to worry about someone stealing in and the second issue is I can’t use a heater there just isn’t a good spot to sit one without worrying about something catching on fire but it will work for now

Hey Alex, I noticed you didn’t remove the back support cushions from the back seats. Did you still fit comfortably? I’m 5’7” and would think the extra back cushion-less space would be nice as well as opening up the extra storage room behind the cushion.

How tall are you, and can you lay down flat from head to toe? Also, find the right value resistor and trick that seatbelt circuit into thinking it’s connected. Should cost less than 2 bucks. No more dash lights. Did this on my sprinter van and works 100%.

Once you take the seat off and it looks like you had to cut a cord with your knife. Are you able to put it back in there and hook it back up properly ?
@Outdoor.pixels
@Outdoor.pixels Жыл бұрын
I’m pretty sure it was just a zip tie. I didn’t cut the wire and it just uses a plastic snap so you can put the seat back in connect the snaps and the alarm should go away
@wtfu812omg
@wtfu812omg Жыл бұрын
I did sane for mine but to get best out of it for room you shoukd remove the too part of back seats. There are those little storage cubbies back there behind the seats but trust me it will add so much to the room. I’m five 7 1/2 and I found I needed a little extra wiggle room as I sleep with my arms above my head sometimes what some people do is actually remove those plastic cubby storage bins behind the top side of the backseat and insulate tge rear wall then put a diy molley panel over it. Just made out of 1/4 plywood and painted . Addsso much room but also deadens the sound as you drive.👍🏻
@Outdoor.pixels
@Outdoor.pixels Жыл бұрын
Yeah I thought about removing it but it I’ve been taking the platform in and out so it’s just been easier for me to leave the back part and I use the cubbies to store tools for the truck. Like you said tho you could remove it if you was like 5’10 and maybe get by
