@PangaTAS I've seen you mention in a few different videos that the d-pad on switch pro controllers is terrible. Today I modded mine because I was tired of accidental up and down inputs when changing directions. There are a bunch of different guides on yt for how to fix this, and all of them involve putting tape on the inside of the d-pad contacts. I used scotch tape to cover the inside half of each of my d-pad contacts, and now it's gone from horrible to working perfectly. It was a lot easier to take apart and put together than other controllers that I've messed with too. Just thought I'd be a homie and pass it along, because it's hard to get a decent d-pad controller for switch.

I think the button D-pad like on the joy cons is probably make it well for that I guess, with the button controller set to jump it never failed players to do the action.

I always play SMM2 with the regular joycons. Seperate directional buttons will never give you a false diagonal input.
