Night time airship theme is probably my favorite one. The enemies falling slow while Mario has normal physics can lead to some awesome level design. As long as you build two tiles away from the top or bottom from the screen you don't have any visibility issues. I hope they keep it!

On the sandstorm level, when you did a late jump off the edge at the start, it changed your sub-pixel that, when you bounce on the shell, the shell bounce does an (X,Y) check. The gist of the criteria is that you start at a whole integer at the start, but altering sub-pixels creates a decimal. For the shell bounce, when you hit a shell, you are always adjusted (-1,0) and rounded to the lower-bound number. So, when you get a sub-pixel late jump, then bounce on the shell, you lose more distance than normal, which is why you kept missing the ? block. You just needed to jump sooner than the last possible second.

IMO on an Airship Theme course you shouldn't be able to place anything on the top or bottom row. You're supposed to be in the air. There's not supposed to ever be ground at the bottom of the course.
