I spent waaay too much time on Assassin’s Creed Odyssey that I eventually got the platinum. It’s not a perfect game, but it ended up becoming a comfort game, and got my fiancée into gaming as well!

Assassin's Creed Odyssey is my personal favourite (it may not be the best Assassin's Creed game, but it's definitely the best OVERALL game in the franchise) and has the most fun platinum trophy for me. It's the only game that I've ever platinumed twice on two separate accounts, which is really saying something as I've earned 112 platinums on my main account as of today, but no other game was platinumed twice by me (on the same or different account).. I seriously believe that if Ubisoft hadn't included "Assassin's Creed" in the title, this would've been hailed as one of their best games.

I'm pretty proud to have the PS3 platinum for AC II, Brotherhood, Revelations and Rogue. The Flying Machine trophy glitched for me, so I had to replay the entire game about a year later but the Archives made me physically sick!

For the flying machine trophy it can be obtained on the ps3 after you’ve beaten the story you just need to buy sequence 12 because there is a lost memory icon that allows you to use the flying machine again

@airBear Mirage is actually a nice pace, took me 3 weeks to Platinum. I haven't got the Revelations Platinum though, the last two trophies of the DLC are a nightmare. Valhalla's Platinum took me 1 month its the over dose of DLC that takes so much time, I have as yet to get the Forgotten Saga done and the Mastery challenges are broken.

Please give mirage a chance. As long as you don’t use the focus ability in it, then (which you only need to do once because that’s the tutorial for it) AC Mirage is one of the best game in the series imo though the combat is iffy. Easily in the top 5, especially in stealth

I played through the Ezio trilogy and AC3 late last year for the very first time, one after another, and after AC3 I was excited to play Black Flag but I was so burned out by then that BF was so frustrating taking the boat everywhere. The boat combat is also just the same thing over and over again. I never finished it and I still am on a break months after. I’m still burned out BUT the Ezio trilogy was great and AC3 was very fun and dare I say a little underrated.

I played through The Ezio Trilogy around 3-5 years ago and got all but two achievements on the xbox one: Impress Warren Vidic and Cross Styx Without Dying. Hopefully, I will get those last 2 achievements. Mad respect for getting the platinum for the trilogy. Really wish Ubisoft bothered to include checkpoints for the optional objectives. They make the AC 2 DLC memory sequences mandatory but don't put in checkpoints like the rest of the AC games from AC 3 through Syndicate have.

AC2 is very fun to platinum. All you have to do is do each district as it unlocks. It’s way easier knocking out 9 feathers per district, along with the chests and viewpoints for each district. Then the main missions for the sequence.

I may agree that the modern storyline breaks the gameplay a bit in terms of fun, but i believe at least Desmond's story is particularly interesting for me, so i don't get why you wouldn't care, but i still respect your opinion and kudos to you for getting a platinum for the ps3 version other than the collection!

I spent Covid getting all the achievements for the original versions of these games, including AC3, had to replay each game like 3 teams because of glitched achievements. You can no longer get all the achievements for these games as the servers are beginning to shut down so I feel quite lucky to have gotten them. I even got all the a bievemtns for the 360 and the one versions of black flag. Man Covid was crazy.

I think the appeal of Black Flag is more so pirates than assassin's creed. Like the amount of good pirate games is so little so for me, it was a best of both worlds kinda deal!

I love the AC games but honestly all the hoops I have to jump through for some of those trophies (especially 100% sync) has kept me from going for a lot of the older platinums. But, I am also more committed to the trophy hunt now than I was then, so maybe I oughta revisit some and go for it. AC Rogue is my favorite in the series, but of the six AC games I’ve platinumed, Mirage was probably my favorite platinum of them. It’s really simple, but at least it doesn’t have any weird or infuriating trophies like the others do. Small tip in case you aren’t aware, but if you are intending to get the platinum for all the games you can in the series, be sure to get the physical copy for the three Chronicles games. I bought the bundle digitally and it makes them separate trophy lists. That said, great work on the Ezio trilogy, and best of luck with the rest of the series!

This series used to be my all time favorite and now I don’t even keep up with it lol. It’s insane the damage games like odyssey and Valhalla have done. I even look at origins differently, it’s heavily carried by Bayek and abubakar salims performance. Also I really think you should try playing ac1 again. I was just like you I never really liked it and the ezio trilogy was by far my favorite. But playing it recently it’s become my second fav assassins creed game of all time. It’s the game that makes you feel the most like an assassin imo. sure repetitive sometimes but it’s so good man. I’m kinda glad I completed it for the first time last year because I don’t think I would have appreciated it as much if I played it in the glory days of ac.

@@MayorHairBear not in my experience, but it isn't just the bugs, the game is just bad in general, stealth doesn't work, the parkour and climbing is clunky and awkward, combat is stiff and unresponsive, you get stuck on the environment everywhere etc, 😭

i hate that Ubisoft included a multiplayer mode with the trophies would have loved to get both the ps3 and ps4 trophy sets for the trilogy but now I can't because multiplayer went offline its honestly one of the biggest drawbacks of ps3 trophy hunting since a lot of the games included MP modes just for the sake of it and had multiplayer trophies for them that are now unobtainable

Yeah for the most part I agree about the modern day sections in the AC series. It was mildly interesting in the first game from a story perspective, a nice little framing device. Definitely worst part of the gameplay but I was intrigued on what the AC gameplay would look like in the modern/slightly futuristic era. I still think it could be a decent idea if they went in the vein of an open world, third person shooter, with a heavy epmphasis on their social stealth system, with maybe more traditional ones as well like in MGS or Splinter Cell, but it'll never happen. Then ACII came out and I realized that the modern day sections are just going to suck no matter what because of the melee focused gameplay they wanted to do. Plus the overall conspiracy was ruined by it just being aliens and also tied to the even stupider Mayan calender doomsday bs. I definitely checked out of the Desmond story after that. Admittedly I was a little curious again on what they would do after the ending of ACIII for the modern day sections or if we might do away with them entirely. Imagine my disappointment when I pick up Black Flag to see they've decided to go back to the investigative walking simulator from the first game but this time it's in first person and also you're an employee of a vr game developer using animus technology with the meta context of making the AC game you're currently playing. Haven't played anything past Black Flag but I doubt it's ever really improved since then.

I ran through and got the Plat. in The Ezio Collection on my PS5 like last year? Thanks to them removing that Multiplayer and those Trophys... Enjoyed every minute of it. Already done AC2 X360 on my Series X and will run through the Trilogy again at 60fps on XsX later 👌 Done AC3 on PS4 and Liberation on PS3/PS4. AC Rogue on everything too (PS3/PS4/X360/Xbone) love that game, basically mixes the best of AC4 (the Gameplay and overall Design) and AC3 (Locations and stuff) plus a ton of totally New stuff.
