I just started a few months ago going hard with the shorts. Now you can go for 5 minutes I think right now with the shorts

I would stick to 15 seconds. Make sure that your posts has a hook that resonates with your audience

From my experience, you should do both. I usually do one long video per week plus 3 to 5 five shorts to cover the week plus trying to drive traffic to the main video. If u are going to upload only shorts, you might get people that are only interested in shorts and not in long formats videos. This depends on you tho, like, what kind of channel you want to create and what U wanna share. If u are able to put your story in 3 mins shorts, then go for it, otherwise use the long format if u need more time to tell the story. Just try and so your studies, no arm in that and, have fun while doing it 😊
