This video and the one where you teach the proper take away changed my golf game in 3 days. Granted I hit 500 balls but it just started clicking last night and this morning on the range. I hit a high draw 10 times in a row, then miss one cuz I'd push it right, then hit 10 more in a row. It's literally unbelievable. The test will be on the course tomorrow I hope I don't choke. Another great video Alex. I’ am in a transition with the downswing, it’s hard. 2-3 years ago all my drive’s where straight bullets, but somewhere down the line the downswing pad is changed from inside out to outside in. I shift my weight to late from back to front with the result that also the hip turn is to late and then fading or slicing the ball. Going tot try out this practice drill tomorrow.

Yeeeesssss I needed this video as I slice the heck out of my driver....then when I try to correct it....literally in the same round on Saturday some drives went 200 yards and then a couple went 150....can you explain the disparity? As always thank you for your help.

amazing! God erm this is hard to be honest because i can’t see your swing so i don’t know where you are going wrong... could be that you are rushing in the downswing, or that your ball position changed slightly. I’m not sure as there is so many different factors

Great stuff 👍🏻 Q: What is the impact on a tee shot with a driver between HIGH HANDS and LOW HANDS? A friend of mine says if his hands are low (and wrists bent), his shot goes astray. When his hands are higher (straighter wrists) his results are better. Do high hands or low hands promote a hook or a slice? Thanks, Alex

High hands on the follow through would suggest a more scoops action. So potential for the club face to be a little off in direction and less consistent

AlexElliottGolf No, low or high hands AT SETUP! Low with arms hanging straight down, or high with arms more extended (like DeChambeau). I always was told low hands (arms mostly hanging down), but my friend finds his ball strays less if he reaches out, ball further from him. I'm confused. p.s. He's a much better golfer than I (single digit handicap, played in high school, hits it a long way)

Alex, I am a slicer however I fixed my grip and alignment but still wasn't consistently eliminating the slice. Then I remembered someone saying my arms should be soft and loose on the backswing and downswing. Within 5 swings I was hitting the ball straight away. Am I fooling myself or did I fall upon something that is very important in the swing?

I think what you are doing is just letting your whole body relax so you are coming through the golf ball, with better rotation... and it’s stopping you from coming over the top. That’s how i see it anyway?

Nice video Alex! I noticed the guy with the slice might have grip issues too and his setup might also be in question without a tilt to make it easier to hit up on the ball. Just things that would also contribute to his slice.
