Using sticks at home now every time. Instant feedback when i catch one on the downswing is priceless. They are my second pair of eyes. You can also narrow the slot to challenge yourself as you improve. So much better than just hitting balls. Great drill.

My God, that's exactly what I needed to hear and absolutely practice this everyday until I feel the difference. I'm 56 yrs old, gave up gold 25 yrs ago, recently retired and started playing again. My flexibility and form isn't what it use to be and my back swing shows it. I Really think this drill will help me.

What a superb drill and so easy todo. I too have trouble with coming over the top due to my inside takeaway but that is getting better. This will help no end - thank you!

Alex, excellent drill. My experience has always been that amateurs have trouble rotating left arm in backswing. Your drill helps with that as it is My impression that it presets the arm about 45 degrees making further rotation unnecessary.Have to take care grip doesn't get too strong. I have been having slicers pre set left forearm which results in better swing plane. Appreciate YOUR opinion. Ray

Not exactly sure if I can do this drill at my age. I tend to bend my elbow when trying to get depth in my swing. Going to give it a go though. Thanks Alex!

I've sorted my path, now just need to work on closing the club face at impact, that's the hardest part for me

Alex, I frequently strike my irons off of the bottom couple grooves. Any tips or drills for catching more in the center of the face?

I like these videos. BUT … everyone seems to want to teach a draw swing and nothing on people who naturally hit a fade. Sometimes the fade gets away and I hit a weak shot that leaks further right but what do I work on to make sure I don’t do that? Practicing a draw swing just feels like a major swing change which I’m not really looking for, I’m looking to optimize my natural swing which is a fade. Just recently I’ve noticed I’ve lost 15-20yds on my irons and I just can’t figure out what happened, I’d say the last 2-3 rounds (I play weekly) … my assumption is that it’s all contact related but typically I can aim 5yds left of target and hit target most of the time but now I’m way short and having to hit longer clubs that are just not as accurate.
