Welcome to my KZbin channel Hairliciously. In this channel, I will be taking you on a journey of my FUE hair transplant progress. Towards the end of November 2016, I had a 1700 FUE hair transplant done in South Korea at Motion Clinic (en.motionclinic.kr) to lower my hairline and to fill in my receding temples. The FUE hair transplant procedure took me about 7-8 hours to complete and cost me approximately $5000 USD.
I will be doing daily updates on my hair transplant progress, so feel free to subscribe and ask any questions you have. Thanks for visiting!
Please like, comment and subscribe! :)
======================================
Products I am using to supplement my FUE hair transplant:
1. HAIRLICIOUSLY Dr Pen 1.5mm 1-2x a week. (temples and hairline)
2. HAIRLICIOUSLY Hair Growth Supplement 2x a day
3. Minoxidil (Rogaine) - Minoxidil slows hair loss progression and promotes hair regrowth. I've noticed that using Minoxidil helped me grow my transplanted hairs a lot more quicker.
4. Pumpkin Seed Oil 1000 mg + HAIRLICIOUSLY Vitamins
5. HAIRLICIOUSLY Low Level Laser Therapy (LLLT)SHAVED MY HEAD: • I SHAVED MY HEAD AGAIN...

Problem nobody seems to mention with a Dermapen is that you have poor control over how many wounds you create since the pen continues to pummel your scalp if you don't move it. The other problem is that as you slide it across your scalp you may be unnecessarily damaging your scalp as you drag while the needles are still in your scalp. The stamp is the only way to precisely control how many wounds you are making and ensure that the needles only pass directly in and out of your scalp without dragging.

@@LRM5195 I read you are supposed to use it twice a week on your head. Also if you combine it with minoxidile you will see a lot more hair in about 6 months but minoxidile will actually make your hair look worse at first before it looks better because it makes you shed all your weak hairs including the fine baby hairs and those hairs will be replaced by much stronger thicker hairs months later

For everyone asking and wondering...these manual derma pens and derma stamps can only be used about 4 or 5x ( once a week use, gotta replace it every month or so ) Soak the needle heads in 70% alcohol for 10 minutes before and after use. Wash hair with shampoo before microneedling. You CAN use hair growth serum after microneedling. Do not use minoxidil until 12 to 24 hours has passed from microneedling your scalp. It can go systemic in your blood if you use topical min directly after you microneedle which is not what you are using topical min for.

@TheMythRay
@TheMythRay Жыл бұрын
I do it every 1-2 weeks, if it caused scarring then no one would be doing it. People literally butcher their scalp and still see results. Also, the healing process of microneedling has to be at most a few days. Even when I get pinpoint bleeding it stops almost immediately. That’s just my opinion of course
@BenLovrien

To both of those things if I’m even understanding them correctly. Idk how to respond about hair transplants being mentioned because I don’t have one, I’m just doing it preventatively. I notice that my scalp, from pinpoint bleeding using a 1.5mm stamp, is completely back to normal within 3-4 days. But I’ve heard the healing process within your scalp can last 2-3 weeks and to let it heal longer, then I’ve also heard to do it every week. So idk what to do still😂

If you are microneedling for half an hour then you are destroying your scalp. Only do microneedling once a week and duration should not exceed more than 5-10 minutes max.
@Ben-ld1qi
@Ben-ld1qi 3 жыл бұрын
@@kawan5851 I'm not kidding, it's the OCD nature of me taking over and I just have to go over the same spots lots of times, because I'm worried that I didn't go over a certain spot good enough and the I could potentially miss "an entire week's worth of microneedling gains". Keep in mind that I go over the entire scalp and beard. How long should *just* the scalp (but entire scalp including sides and back) take in general? It seems most people say it's anywhere from 5 to 15 minutes altogether.

@@Ben-ld1qi I have crossed 30s and believe me 50% of my hair are back that I lost in the last 10 years. It took me 2 years to regain lost hair (especially from the crown region). I get Finasteride (only Half Mg per day), PRP with Stem cells (once in 6 months), Micro-needling 1 mm (once in 2 weeks => Dont press too much, do it gently), Oiling the hair(once a week), Vitamin D and Biotin regularly and most importantly Good food, exercise, hydration and less Stress is very important. It is a slow and gradual process. One must have patience while having this routine. Please don't overdo anything. It will have adverse effect.

@@kawan5851 That is very motivating and inspiring to hear. Guess I'll take it more easy and look at it as a marathon. By the way how much does a PRP treatment cost and which oils are you using once per week?
@kawan5851
@kawan5851 3 жыл бұрын
@@Ben-ld1qi One PRP session don't exceed 100 Dollars for me. But there are cheaper options available as well. "PRP with stem cells" is very specialized and expensive and only specialized clinics do that. It can be done once in 2-3 years. As far as oils are concerned I usually use Avocado oil. But Coconut and especially Argan Oil is famous as well. The main aim is to moisturize your scalp and hair. So any hair oil can help.

is there a difference between titanium and stainless steel? I just googled the dermastamp you used (I think it is the DRS dermastamp) and they say it is titanium but in your video you said it is stainless steel. Please let us know. Thanks in advance!

Titanium is a metal while stainless steel is a metal alloy. Take that how you will but as long as it’s going into the scalp and the needles are clean, I don’t see why it would make much of a difference.

I see a few answers on how many times to go over a single area, for instance like here I hear 10 stamps, 4-6 somewhere else, just 2 somewhere else. They were all using the standard 1 5mm. The guy doing 2 was concerned about scarring if over doing it, so I'm confused what's the best amount of stanps and or rolls if using a roller you should be doing
