For everyone asking and wondering...these manual derma pens and derma stamps can only be used about 4 or 5x ( once a week use, gotta replace it every month or so ) Soak the needle heads in 70% alcohol for 10 minutes before and after use. Wash hair with shampoo before microneedling. You CAN use hair growth serum after microneedling. Do not use minoxidil until 12 to 24 hours has passed from microneedling your scalp. It can go systemic in your blood if you use topical min directly after you microneedle which is not what you are using topical min for.

Problem nobody seems to mention with a Dermapen is that you have poor control over how many wounds you create since the pen continues to pummel your scalp if you don't move it. The other problem is that as you slide it across your scalp you may be unnecessarily damaging your scalp as you drag while the needles are still in your scalp. The stamp is the only way to precisely control how many wounds you are making and ensure that the needles only pass directly in and out of your scalp without dragging.

Dr. GARY Linkov says once a month, if that, because potential scarring can interfere with a successful hair transplant. The site becomes too scarred to grow hair.
@TheMythRay Жыл бұрын
I do it every 1-2 weeks, if it caused scarring then no one would be doing it. People literally butcher their scalp and still see results. Also, the healing process of microneedling has to be at most a few days. Even when I get pinpoint bleeding it stops almost immediately. That’s just my opinion of course

To both of those things if I’m even understanding them correctly. Idk how to respond about hair transplants being mentioned because I don’t have one, I’m just doing it preventatively. I notice that my scalp, from pinpoint bleeding using a 1.5mm stamp, is completely back to normal within 3-4 days. But I’ve heard the healing process within your scalp can last 2-3 weeks and to let it heal longer, then I’ve also heard to do it every week. So idk what to do still😂

Wash your hair then hair serum then derma stamp. 1 day gap then start over :))

нужно вымыть волосы, затем использовать дерма штамп, а после сыворотку, так она проникнет сквозь микро раны прямо в кожу головы.

Which is cheaper, a dermaroller or dermastamp?
@hairliciously3 жыл бұрын
Roller since it's not adjustable
@uhohDavinci2 жыл бұрын
the roller is cheaper by about $5.. I think i got my rollers for $10. and the stamp for $15.. But the roller causes more damage/pain, as well as tangled hairs.

Use your derma roller like a stamp. Don't roll. Just apply to the scalp up and down. It's just as effective.
