I Used a PC for Over 2 weeks! HP Z2 G9 Mini Review Mac Studio Killer?

Just picked one of these up a couple of weeks ago. I-9 13900 (24 cores), RXT A2000. Been playing Halo Infinite on ultra settings 4K and getting 35-40 fps. Didn't even buy it for gaming but it's a nice extra benefit.

One thing you will notice is that the HP will be infinitely more upgradeable but the Mac Studio is difficult if not impossible to upgrade. I am sure you probably watched all of the videos of them trying to upgrade a Mac Studio and having no luck at all. This would be despite being able to remove the SSD or even find an empty socket that you would think works with one. It also doesn't help them much that the Mac Studio is expensive as heck. It is like buying a used car!

How did you install macOS onto it? What about fan noise of that system from a fanboy? 2-4 Cores of Mac Studio are just efficient cores.

That Day you’re talking about will never come… upgradable macs? No way! Just remember that Apple sells on exclusivity and… yeah wall gardening coupled with planned obsolescence… How was the thermals and noise on Z2 when pushed to the max?

😎😎👍👍 I like AppleTV4K and my iPad 9. For Home Entertainment Apple ist the best for me. But for work i use a HP EliteBook 850 G5 and a HP Z32 4K UHD Display. In the near future I`ll buy a HP ZBook (Firefly or Studio)... Greetz from Switzerland
