Hey so firstly: great! And second: I tried it, too, but with the tutorial idea of how to hide your thoughts inside of blender. Well, end its answer was just genius... "First we'll need to create a simple cube and move it to the top of the screen. Next, we'll add a new text to the scene and type in our thoughts. Now, we'll need to hide the text by hiding it under the cube. To do this we'll select the text and the cube to press "H" on the keyboard to hide them both. Now, our thoughts are hidden inside of Blender." Isn't that genius???

Simply disable volumetrics and Catmull-Clark subdivision and your problem should be solved :) If this doesn’t work, you can always try writing a custom Python script. Hope this helps!
