Just to let you know there’s a “distribute points in volume” node now, which would have saved you some time at the beginning!

funny how you placed yourself on top of the bottom right (completely unnecessary to see the KZbinr when looking for tutorials....) covering the version of blender you are using.

Love this tutorial! Undortunately it's not working with 4.3 version of Blender. What version was this when you made this tutorial?
@kjdh38238 күн бұрын
It does actually work... Just did it. Only issue I'm having now is the noise texture, speed of the points and the amount of points, which I now have to play around with and figure out.

Thanks for pointing me to Houdini. I am totally done with Blender. It is hopeless off the bat. Both tools are free (with the apprentice version of Houdini). I came from 3ds max to Blender which is a hopeless mission

I've followed the video perfectly but can't reach the intended result, i'm not fluent in geometry nodes, but i was wondering if you would be able to look at file.

ITs just old memory , the person who would start from HOUDINI will find blender to be a Tough mountain as well. Regardless the Physics sim is very accurate as i can see..i am a blender for lyf kind of a guy but maybe once i cross my half assed intermediate hobbyist level , i might want to look at physics sim in houdini. For now Blender is a one stop shop and thats why it has it's pros and cons against the Nukes and the Houdinis of the world

Can you tell me what is the 4th coordinate? I mean can you really imagine a 4D shape. I heard all the basic popular knowledge and basic concepts and the way of thinking but I still can't visualize and comprehend how they would look in a 4D universe. What is the 4th coordinate they diseappear into for example? I want to see or at least imagine how a 4D object would look not in our dimension but in all of it's complete form and reality.

I found a work around for "mesh to points" not accepting a point cloud in 4.2.3. simply add a "points to vertices" before it.

I went to your Patreon page to join, pay and to see if you updated anything on this this tutorial titled “Blender Beginner Particles Tutorial Bad Normals”. It does not exists on your Patreon page. At least I did not see it after searching. I found another tutorial. I will not attempt any tutorial including yours that is not 4.2 or greater. I hope you consider updating this tutorial as this is a VERY useful tool and lesson. I would suggest you use screencast keys. Further, I would suggest losing the photo of you bottom right. It is covering an area that we need to see when you change values. If you have to leave it put the pic on the left side or move it when you are doing something and the pic is blocking our view. Overall, I like your approach/style. Best of luck moving forward.

I can just, imagine someone shifting to different forms as they walk, run, fly, or swim through each world. Seeing all of these different types of dimensions but only for a little bit. Maybe the person is looking for a particular world, or maybe their trying to find a person who's also traveling and got lost? So many random thoughts for different scenarios.
